H+J liquidators in Illinois claims to have been in the business for 25 years. I doubt they have made a 25 year career from misleading people. They took exception liberties with their item description and photographs of an item I purchased. Luckily I only got ripped off for 40 bucks. The item I received I had to throw out in the garbage. Centurylink offered to upgrade my internet speed to 10 gb from 1.5 for ten dollars per month more in January. Since then, I have spent somewhere near 25 hours on the phone with them pluggin in and unplugging my modem and running various tests to determine why the speed is acceptable in the morning but then decreases as the day progresses down to under 1 gb (sometimes even lower). Had this company contracted to come out and do 10 areas in our house today. We picked this company specifically because they do dry carpet cleaning and not wet. We were told that furniture would be moved. When they showed up, the cleaning crew announced that they do not move beds (and bedrooms were our primary areas of concern, as 3 of 4 of us have asthma and allergies. I noticed a few providers on shipalmostanything that were banned from uship for scamming and operating outside their DOT authority. This is a complaint about Toner Pirates. I purchased two laser cartridges for my HP Laserjet 2420. They were not usable, as they had no chips on them, which is required by the hardware in the printer. When I went back to the website to contact them, the contact link took me right out of the website. They deliberately made a bogus product and provided no way of contacting them. Gave me no more information about selling on eBay that I didn't already know. So I asked for his 56-day iron clad refund. Hah! He didn't respond. Do not buy tickets from this man calling himself David Sisto. At least 5 people have been scammed by him that I know of since May 2008. He claims to be selling valid 2-day Disneyland Park Hopper passes for $75 each. He actually just ripped them off from Safeway, without getting the tickets ‘activated’.
