I recently paid $345 for a new water heater from Home Depot which included $319 installation fee. As if that wasn't enough, when the delivery man came to install it he charged me an EXTRA $193 to "bring it up to code", ( to replace a saddle valve ) so the total price of the water heater is now $893! I had BrendaHarris in to clean my house, and everything was fine for the first visit. She talked too much, but good cleaners are hard to find. I hired Shelli Van Lines to move my entire apt into my new home 7 miles away. I gave the company rep a detailed list of items I needed moved ( furniture, tv's, computers, boxes, etc) They quoted me $700 and stated it was a flat rate for all the items I listed and included cost for truck, 3 men, and all equipment. I recently bought a carton of cigarette from our local store. I was smoking on a pack & when I got down to the last cigarette, it had electrical tape on it near the filter end..there was also a small slit in between both ends of the tape. I feel like this pack was tampered with, even though it was completely sealed when I first opened it. I have the cigarette & the pack it was in. I can send pictures if need be. They claim to be an Emergency Message System, which apparently no one wants, so they have to resort to billing random people's phone bills in the hopes that you won't check your bill each month. We were told upon arrival any damages would be covered by insurance. They were informed multiple times that we had just purchased brand new furniture. I ordered a "Free" trial of the electronic cigarette from Directecig.com. For the cost of shipping($9.95)you received a starter kit of the product. Nothing on the web page said anything about a 2 week trial period before they sent you the full order and charged the full price of $89.95 plus shipping. The Flip Ultra HD Model U212OW is a defective product because it cannot be properly recharged after drainage of the battery. All sorts of error messages ensue. Fred bean told my daugter she needed new rear brake rotors. I took the car to another auto repair shop and they were shocked that they tried to sell her rotors. They told me the rotors were well over the minimum thickness, not scored or warped. Fred Beans also told her she would need new light bulbs for the signals and brakes although they were woking fine. Typical of these types of sites. It's not that convenient, since I still have to call the golf course to check on maintenance status, cart path only (if it's rainy) and other issues. If the item is sold, then it should be paid and if it is not paid, then it is not sold and the item should be returned. Looking for a reasonably priced cleaning service, I came across Minit Maids. In business for 30 years, bah. So they say. How they have stayed in business for so long is beyond me. I hired them to clean a house prior to moving in. The maid cleaned for four hours, and I still had 3-foot long cobwebs next to the fireplace, from the ceiling, and debris in the cabinets and stove. Omnicity.net bought our ISP. Our internet used to run great. Now it ***. I called and they blame it on our old ISP. But our old ISP MAINTAINED our network and kept us up. We had 24/7 support and service. This was with, basically a one man show. Now we have a corporation that owns our ISP. They suck! They don't keep us up and they don't get us back up quickly.
