DO NOT USE insurefor.com direct or via comparisin sites. Direct Group Travel Services handle claims on behalf of Rock insurance Company who sell travel insurance on comparison sites under the name of INSUREFOR.COM
These companies are not interested if you ever need to claim on your policy. They do not communicate and refuse to comminicate with the claimants hoping that the claimant will eventually give up.

Egypt Platinum Packages
We book 10 days Egypt Nile Cruise & Tour on 12/09. It was confirm by US that our cruise ship is MS Carnival, MS Carnival was not a 5 **, it was downgraded to Crocodile Carnival Ship. Be aware ! they are both the same cruiseship name. They don't even have a nice Gym. room, all the equipment was out dated & not even working. We were ripoff by the cruise ship. They are a huge con. My friend and I thought we were getting a good deal on a hotel in the UK and when we got there the hotel had our names in the computer but under a rediculously more expensive rate (one that the hotel doesn't even charge), all because of student universe. Then when we emailed them about it they said that there was nothing they could do and basically left us with out a place to stay. Apart from the prices being fake adverisement its also fraud. Jet Blue Airline
Jet Blue emails that your True Blue points are about to expire promise that you can prevent expiration by obtaining a True Blue credit card. They expire anyway. Customer service then says that once new points from True Blue credit card use post, they will then be reinstated -- which is not at all what they promised in their email. My new points posted a week ago and I'm still waiting. In the mean time I haven't been able to access them for planned travel (sale now expired) and who knows weather their new reinstatement promise is any better than their original. read full review »

Wyndham Hotels And Resorts
Wyndham refused to book a hotel for using points as I was under the 60 day wire, although I purchased the necessary points before the cutoff, and wyndham cashed the check that day. i had to wait 5 - 7 days for wyndham to put it in the system - I asked for an exception that would have been easy to accept - a check with supervisors revealed no flexibility - I sent a complaint letter to which I have yet to hear from them - bottom line - no service. R travel are a joke, they said they would ring me back when trying to book the holiday they never rang back countless times, I paid the deposit which they said was 50 pounds each and that was it until the final payment. After a presentation we joined Travel quest. We only had access to the website 6 weeks after signing up. We realized that the concept was not what they pretended it to be. We tried to cancel but the 5 day cool off period already expired.

The Villa Group
I have been a member with the Villa Group for over 8 years and my parents even own this property. I recently made an upgrade and was not happy with the way it was sold. I contacted the resort and even spoke to the sales manager regarding my recent purchase. The reps at the resort were compassionate and took my claim very serious. Needless to say, I was offered a great solution and I am still a very happy member with the Villa Group.

I Booked my tickets to India (CVG to Del) from Makemytrip, and owing to unavoidable circumstances, I had to cancell my trip, accordingly I cancelled my tickets and I was told that the refund amount (after deducting the cancellation penalty of $300) will be posted to my account within 10 days...

We checked into Room 240 on 10/02/10 and was shocked of the condition of the room. We didn't even sleep in the room last night. We just left. We came to Masters Inn because of the affordable rates, but we didnt realize that we will have to sacrifice quality for price.

Breakaway Cruises - did not give a refund to my handicapped wife when she could not board the vessel, primarily due to medical problems. Tripmate switched policies and did not honor the "cancel for no reason" policy. My wife and I scheduled a trip with our local church to Israel (Nov 18-27 2010). We paid a total of $6952 for two fares of which $438 was for travel insurance. Under the provisions of the contract you cannot pay for the trip insurance until all of the monies for the trip are paid. It appears that the 800 number is just for show as nothing ever seems to get resolved. The customer service forwards the complaint to the hotel, which then nothing ever happens and then customer service apologizes for the hotel. I have filed several complaints over the past year and had to live with unresolved issues, kind of sick of that. My advice to you is use another company of your choice and stay away from the Hilton chain of hotels if you like customer service. read full review »

For instance, when I asked a simple question about Sterling and Francine Clark museum, she snapped in offensive tone of voice and facial expression while shaking whole her body. Yesterday was the fourth time that we have been caught into going to one of Holiday Club's marketing evenings. We were assured that it was not a time share evening and was to do with a charity competition we has sent an sms to in the beggining of the year. A simple request to please provide a quote for a 3 nights stay in Kruger National Park gave no response within a week. 1 Time Airline got my flight details backwards. Sifiso at the airport admitted that the booking Agent Muwelo booked me flying from Cape Town to Durban and returning from Durban to Cape Town, when my booking was the other way around. I lost 4 hours at work, incurred food and beverage and transport costs. They also had the nerve to charge me an extra R600 ..they refused to give me a receipt for this R600??
