I was told my flight was at 12:50am on the 10 of June. I arrived at the airport on the 10 and told me my flight was the night before, 12:50am so I had to be there by the 9 of June. They were rude and also three other families thought the same thing. The ticket agent should of said, remember your flight is 12:50 am so be here the night before by three hours and none of us would of missed the flights. We booked two rooms for us (retired couple) and a room for my elderly sister. We were seperated by another room.At 1 am 4 men arrived in the room between and started fighting and swearing loudly for two hours. Then started again at 6 am. We went down to the desk in the AM to complain and didn't want to spend another night and they agreed to a refund. However, they refused to give us the refund. Bad Business Practices. I wish to complain about the USPS in our town, Ames; probably in our state: Iowa. My husband and I are retirees who spend half the year traveling or in Canada where we own a small cottage. It's a long time to be away and we usually stop or return to Ames several times during our "away time" to check mail, our house and yard. My Pregnant (4 month) Wife And Son (age-3) had scheduled to Fly On 1/05/2010 By Air Arabia (Flight:: G9491, Dep: 22:25, Sharjah-Goa). we paid 3000 to get the membership. it went down from 9500 to 3000 after 2 hours of negotiating... after getting the log in info, found out that the dates and cities we can go are so limited. for example, it is june 2010 now and we searched vacation in bali, indonesia. we only found 1 hotel option available in april 2011. other example - we searched hotels in tokyo, again only one option for the standard room (not the 4 start condo as they promised) for the same rate as we see at the hotel's website. what's the point of this vacation club??? total scam. hope they go out of business soon. read full review »

Lion Resorts is one of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with. The staff were rude, patronising, unhelpful and completely ruined our holiday, which was our wedding and honeymoon. Lowes Portifino Resort in Universal Studio was an expensive disappointment. Besides the fact the beds are uncomfortable, rooms are too small, bathrooms are huge with tiny shower that barely sprays your body, the prices are outrageous. The worst experience was at checkout. We had almost $400 in mini-bar charges, and the resort refused to provide a break-down. They said it just was not possible. That's unbelievably bad procedure. Beware of everything you room-charge at this hotel, and get two rooms if you have children. The 7 day vacation cost me over $10k. The staff was ok, certainly not the best.
