Just found out that lastminutetravel.com had charged me almost $200 on my credit card. I didn't recognize this charge so I filed a dispute with American Express. They looked into it and decided to side with the vendor. I asked what the charge was, and they said it was a hotel reservation with Tourico Holidays. I had never heard of this before and I certainly had not reserved anything through lastminutetravel.com nor had ever gone to a Tourico Holidays (not even sure what that is). We have filed a formal complaint with the South Carolina's Attorney General's office against Festiva Resorts Adventure Club. We have paid for all of our 50, 000 points and maintenance fees to date, but are always told nothing is available. Americinn Hotel in Hutchinson is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff were rude especially the General Manager (Brad Jacobson) The Hotel is small, Dirty, And smelly.But what got me the most was the security at this hotel. They Charge 110.00 for cleaning and over 200.00 a night, for a very dirty house with mouse dropping everywhere and traps. Also Mold and sewage smell! Cockroaches. My bag was lost for 6 days, my children were served the wrong meals, we suffered a 3 hour delay and certain members of your staff were unhelpful. A bank I worked at received a fax about a travel agency making reservations for 2 at an all inclusive resort in cancun or mayan riviera in mexico for $602, redeemable within 1 year. I called them and talked to them for a while and went ahead with the reservation and payment. Stayed there 1 night while my daughter was having tests run at the Medical College of Georgia. After lining up for well over 2 hours for a flight to Perth, getting on the plane and then we being all the passengers ordered off the plane. The reason for this was a curfew.
