Since I began using Zone Alarm Security Suite, I have had frequent occasions when the Zone Alarm vsmon.exe process completely takes over the CPU and all other work becomes impossible for long stretches of time. I have followed all the advice on the Zone Alarm site for optimizing settings and so on, but to no avail. This is happening even when Zone Alarm is *not* scanning for viruses or the like. After several attempts to contact the company (overseas calls and e-mail) and 11 months and I have not recieved my magazine subscriptions. DO NOT subscribe through this company. Better to go direct through the publisher (eg, Conde Nast). It is impossible to contact the customer service people (they put you on hold for 3 minutes and then the line just hangs up). This company has for the second time charged $4.95 to my credit card. When I called, it's just voice recording saying to contact them via the internet. I have a strong feeling these people have stolen credit card numbers and are charging $4.95 to who knows how many people seeing so that people don't bother filing a criminal complaint.
