I took a free trial of Acaiburn products, and supplied my debit card no as payment for postage, unknown to me was small print stating that I was subscribing to a product for a monthly fee, and had to cancel in writing. I have tried to get on Acaiburn website, cannot, have no emails to which to respond etc. I do not wish to receive any further supplies of this product, and in fact would like my money returning to me that has already been debited, this is obviously a scam. This company is terrible! They will charge you no matter what and keep charging you! I signed up for the free trail and it took five days to get to me. After I had it for three days, I began calling the company to cancel. I would be on hold for over 20 minutes and then I would get an answering machine! No one called me back! On the 22nd April 2009 this company took £129.90 from my bank account instead of £12.99. I was at first able to contact them about this and they assured me that they would pay the £116.91 back into my account within 28 days. After waiting for 2 months this credit did not show up. My father gave my husband an $80.00 sizzler gift card that our local sizzler restaurant won't honor. The next, nearest Sizzler is alomst 100 miles roundtrip--- and of course there is no proof that they will accept the card either. What a ripoff! Customer beware. Don't buy Sizzler gift cards. I moved home in march and notified all my credit card companies of my new address. I received a letter from SANTANDER CARDS informing me that i was being charged for a late payment! I phoned up SANTANDER CARDS to explain that i had informed them of the change and that the penalty they were charging me was unjustified. I too have been scammed by this company as when I first opted for the supposedly free trial the page froze and my payment did not go through. In a way I was glad as I thought it sounded too good to be true. Any way after 4 weeks and no payment showing on my bank account I tried again, received the trial pack cancelled it the same week and still got charged this week.
