I responded to an advert via the internet. The product was for 'life cleanse' . I purchased the free trial product as the company literature online stated that I would only pay £3.95 GBP and that this was for posting only. I received a bill from Evans Essentials dated 30 June 2009, account number: 6331 7952 0197 6836 that featured 2 external transactions dated 23 June 90 and 24 June 09 for the sums of 2.30 and 4.52, respectively. I received a warning that I had a 'trojan horse virus' and needed to update my security on my laptop. My laptop had recently been crashing o I thoght this was legit. When asked to up date I entered my debit card and when completed I noticed a company name came up 'Witabett enterprizes'.. when I didn't recive my activation code it took me 20 mins to figure it was a scam.
