Pipexuk call package
I told Pipexuk on March 11th that I was transfereing from them to another internet and landline service provider giving them dates of transfer on March 20th.
I sent a cheque for what I know I owed, but has not been cashed as at April 29th.
I have had several e-mails from 14 different Pipex customer service personnel, several saying they have now cancelled the call package at different dates and a letter dated 14 days after the first confirmation, from a Anthony Marren saying he has now cancelled it.

There was another scam i received about 2 weeks ago. Luckily my boyfriend said to check that company (from USA) on the Internet - i did some search on Google and Vola! - cheaters and scammers!!

I ordered a bunch of flowers and chocolates to be delivered to my sisters in Canada on the 27/05/09. It was supposed to be special and a surprise. I paid a premium for the delivery to take place on the morning of 27/5/09. The flowers and chocolates were not delivered. Placed an order online, money taken from credit card, delivery date confirmed via a short email, however nothing appeared on the confirmed birthday/delivery date. Had I not enquired with the birthday recipient I would never have known of the non-delivery. Carjet gave us quote for 14-day rental in Spain as £210.
The actual charge in Spain was £380, ie.e. almost double that given at booking reservation. They introduce a £75 fuel charge which is major rip off since the tank-full on ford focus costs no more than £45 and you can never empty it completely. There is an additional "extra compulsory" insurance and so on.
The car was faulty as it did not have fuel cap.
The complaint on the return did not lead anywhere. Very rude staff.

The direct debit request for April was 10 times the normal monthly amount. There is no reply to the telephone number supplied by the above company, no reply to e-mails and the additional number on the internet is "no longer in use". I have incurred bank charges and charges for using premium phone lines that go to answer machines. I suspect the company is in liquidation and has been requesting direct debits when not in business. After registering, and paying the said amount, I downloaded the software, which is offered on the internet as a FREE download to anybody, for no payment at all. My girlfriend bought a bed from them in January. They told her it would be delivered within 2 weeks 'guaranteed'. After 10 days when asked where it was they said it would be one more week. This went on for another 3 weeks. they refused to refund saying we had to wait until it came. We had to sleep on the floor for over two weeks when we moved into our new house. When it eventually came late February you could feel a spring in your back. Unbelievable.

I purchased a brand new Corsa SXi 1.4 from Sherwoods, Stockton on Tees, Cleveland on 1/12/07. It is the worst car I have ever had re performance and design but I expected it to at least be reliable.

Halfords / Purchase of GPS
I parked in Halfords own car park and spent 1hr 4 mins to select and purchase a GPS worth GBP 200.
Today I received a parking fine of GBP 50 from their own parking company, stating I had exceeded the maximum time of 30 mins for their customers.
I read the policy today and it is a maximum 30 mins and no return within one hour. Maybe my fault for not reading the sign fully but I did not expect to be fined when I was shopping in their shop. Maybe I should be more concerned because a few days back I purchased a part for my bike and then went back to purchase additional items.
