Less than three years old and this washer has a "fried water pump" and we are warned by the repair person that this $200 repair is a small charge and if we're smart we'll get a service contract. $750 washing machine used by a family of 2 people and needs major repairs in barely 3 years of use. We just got one back (the other is still 1-and-a-half to 2 weeks away from being fixed). I called Toshiba today for help in getting the modem operational since I need it for school. There have been several times throughout various Friday nights when the DJs will play extremely noisy music that actually clears out the dance floor for 30 minute intervals rather than playing good goth and electronic music that encourages people to dance. I bought a power miter saw from them and the guard was defective. The saw sat on a table and one day when I went to use it the guard just broke off into the saw blade. Now they want over $20 just to ship this $16 part to Alaska. I will continue to use the saw without the guard and if I ever cut myself using it I will own some of Sears. They charged my friend $2400 for a 100, 000 warranty. While I bought mine from another dealership (same car) and they only charged $1650 for a 125, 000 mile warranty... for the same car. That is sad that they would actually pass that much of a markup for a lesser product. The other dealership made profit, but they didn't way overcharge their customers. If they really believed in customer service, they would charge everyone the same price, not wait to see if unknowing people would pay so much more.
