Target Exterminators
Glum Optimist October 22, 2010
Several years ago I had Target Exterminators come out and exterminate our home of honeybees which were living in a wall in our house. I was originally told that they would be able get rid of them. They came out and sprayed repeatedly and failed repeatedly. After calling several times a Target employee finally told me that honeybees were unable to be exterminated because they are an endangered species and that it was therefore illegal to try and kill them. Target took payment for a job they knew couldn't be solved by their methods and then... read full review »

Yet another crooked pay-as-you-bid-and-lose-your-money psuedo-auction site concocted by some creep in Malta. First find the fine print and then read it: your 'bids' cost you 80 cents each (paid for before you bid) yet when you use (and lose) an eighty cent bid the auction is only increased in price by 1 penny! Some creep hiding overseas keeps your 80 cents. This is illegal. You are paying money for nothing: you have given money and received nothing in return since your bid is lost when outbid and criminally reduced to a penny on... read full review »

Same old, same old. Like bidfun.com except the bids are about 25% cheaper. Exactly the same in the sense that it is basically an online gambling site rather than a legitimate auction site. You'd think that people like Paypal would start to insist that they call themselves what they really are. Save your time and money and go and buy it on eBay. read full review »

They will not give a refund for shoes I bought. They are in Shanghai and I got "Shanghaied" for $73.98. I emailed them several times asking for their address to return shoes (their mailing label is in Chinese!). Tony Huang won't give it and tells me to keep, sell, or give the shoes away. Their website says "money back guaranteed" -- NOT. He also told me that he would now charge me the shipping cost and tax off any refund. But I still never got an address to ship the shoes back, nor does their website have an address. I should have known better than to deal with China! read full review »

I've been on several bidding sites and have watched hours upon hours of auctions. This site was the only one where I felt I was being raped. I would bid on ps3 games that were obscure and not popular and would continually get run up by bidders, the only catch, non of the names were the same. On normal sites, you would see 2-3 people bidding back and forth, on this site, it was me vs 50 different names. So, in my opinion, bots or a program. Don't waste your time here. read full review »

There has been Unauthorized charges on my bill for a Streaming Flix billed by HBS for 14.95. I call HBS & was told by Randy that he could not address this & forwarded me to 1-877-768-3693 Streaming Flix, which did not answer there phone. When I called HBS back I got Randy back again, who then told me that they could credit the funds back & prevent further billing once I told him I was going to report this as fraud. I then call Frontier Communication which has recently purchased the landlines from Verizon ( I still think they are... read full review »

This is a rip off site...I stayed up until midnight on an auction that was meant to finish at 5.30pm! By the time it was finishing I had used all my credits before I realized that had I one I would of had to pay for the item on top of my bids! An absolute scam...not only that when you try and ask a question they do not reply...at all! read full review »

Bidfun is a total ripoff. 1 bid equals approx $1 and only increases the bid amount by $.01. Using that math, an item selling for $20 actually nets them $2000+. You do NOT get your money back if you don't win the auction. If you do win the auction, not only do you pay $1 for every bid, you also have to pay the final amount of the auction. They are on the rip off report list. I only wish that I had checked it before I spent $200, which is non-refundable. I can hardly believe that they are legal or were able to actually set up this busine... read full review »

I got totally ripped. I spent a lot of money over a period of a couple of days and suddenly realised that this was a scam. Firstly I checked this website and read the review and them compared the bidfun nz to the bidfun uk and found the same users ie. donnaoneill, TITANIK, padcom etc etc are on both sites and the auctions are the same sites but in NZ$ and UKpounds. I don't get this at all, it spells total fraud to me and PAYPAL who I have trusted for years need to get this sorted. Without their link I would never have gone onto this site. DAMMIT. My advice is BEWARE. You bid heaps, spend heaps and get nothing. read full review »

I joined and I stayed up all night to check their dealings, and I can prove that they are 100% scam. Absolute scam run by scumbags. You bid and bid, you NEVER win. I then check the winner's details and the final bid amount, they actually put it lower. They are the biggest scammers and I feel sick for letting these bastards part with my money. Worse of all, I contacted them for an explanation and I got no response back. read full review »

I bought over $100.00 worth of bids, Didn't win anything lost it all, if your O.K. with gambling then this is a place for you, they offer some discounts on items for the money you spent on auctions which you didn't win, none of the merchandise I have any use for...The Power players are very hard to beat, on occasion some one seems to win something for a small amount, but it certainly wasn't me.the auctions takes forever to end, every time you place a bid the clock goes back to 30 seconds, and when your betting a penny it takes a... read full review »

I love how this site says "If you're the last bidder when the clock hits zero, you win!" What they should be forced to say by the FTC is "when the clock hits zero we will just add more time to the clock as another bidder entered the auction...so the auction truly never ends and the timer is nothing but a farce--good luck gambling!" read full review »

When I checked with customer service as too why I did not receive a notice that the products had shipped I was told that I did not read the payment processed e-mail wherein it noted that the product was on back order from the manufacturer and was estimated to be delivered to the vendor by the end of the month. Ordered several items and by the time the first one arrived I had already ordered another item. BIG MISTAKE!!! This one is a train-wreck. Office address is fake, registrant address is fake, telephone numbers are not fake but, contrary to appearances, are cell phones probably not in the UK at all. One is a "premium" number for which they can charge you as much per minute as they like when you call. Product photos are laughable - MacBook Pro photo is of an empty box; Sony camera is a Nikon. iPhone 3Gs is an obvious fake. Claims? Buy 10 Mac Airs and get 2 free? I agree with Pete S. This web site does not answer emails and the same bidders always win. You will notice that two or three of them always bid but never against one another. They drive up the bids at the 60cents per bid and you never win the auction losing all your bids and your money. Then after about a week the bidders change their names so people wont catch on and think they are bidding against someone else. This site should be looked at by someone of authority because they are stealing peoples money. Don't get suckered in to buying any bid packages. read full review »

From what I can tell this site is NOT an impartial/neutral review site. I have tried two products listed here and both occasions have led to money being taken from my bank account without my authority. What they do is con you into thinking you are only paying for the delivery of your free trial but then if you don't contact them back within 15 days they start to charge you... a lot!
