You can not avoid sliding forward and to the middle of the sofa (pic). I specificaly asked the salesman if these cusions would sink in before sale and the salesman assured me that they are made with high quality material and they will not sink in. Chateau Beauvais sofa cushions have sunk in only 2 months after purchase.
