My 15 month old power washer had the Detergent Suction Assembly break the second time I used it this summer. The store where I purchased it showed total disinterest, and hid behind the fact that the warranty had just expired. I ordered the part on the Internet on July 14th, 2010. I have a huge complaint about the Superbucks coupons that you get from the pharmacy when you purchase your medications. No one told me that they had an expiry date on them and not only that the expiry date is extremely small print over other words, that I could not even read the expiry date on it. I had the repair department of the St, Catharines Future Shop store actually go in and remove my hard drive and have it destroyed. The claim by future shop was that according to my warranty my hard drive should have been backed up. The warranty says nothing about the removal of any part of my computer. Future Shop blamed Apple Canada for removing my hard drive but Apple Canada has told me that not only is that not their policy but they can find no record of my computer being repaired. In April we cought our dishwasher on special. It was delivered and stored pending the completion of our kitchen reno. The day after we installed it we called for service as the door was leaking (July 26th) to date the technician has come in 4 times and changed several parts. The company quoted me for installation of ice maker for a new fridge, $60, and claiming a maximum of $70 for running the water from sink area to the fridge. My wife and I were customers with Sirius for a few years. In October 2009 I got a letter notifying us our renewal was soon. I didn't authorize automatic renewals when I signed up. I got my jeans back a few weeks ago but I noticed they were still long. I came back and mentioned the problem. They told me that they were not the ones who worked on my jeans and the jeans I'm showing is still factory stitched! I was surprised by this. I heard about the cats on the kijiji ad, however in my case she told me verbally that I would get registration papers for the 2 cats purchased upon proof of neuter. The appointment for neuter was made before I even pick the cats up from Jackie Jefferies. So the time frame was not the issue, the issue was SHE LIED to me!!! I think it's rediculous how these people can bill us for a mis-calculation that was there fault in 2009 and decide now it's time for us to pay them back. I think they need to take the hit and it's lost revenue, I work in retail myself and if I make a mistake and under charge a customer on their bill I can't just call them to come back and pay the difference that I messed up on. This is something they need to just suck up and get over.
