I purchase a brand new in the box wet tile cutter. On the receipt it says that Candian tire will not accept opened boxes. Any defects or missing parts must be obtained from the manufacturer. It's a Mastercraft tool - The Canadian Tire brand. This amounts to CT moving to a final sale model, where you cannot return anything to them. Once you open the box, you own it. I bought a used vehicle from Sherwood Park Toyota that turned out to be something completely different from what the sales representative said. The biggest surprise was the transmission. They told me it was a 6 speed (this model came standard with a 6 speed), but upon driving it home it was a 5 speed!!! Their "inspection" even missed a burnt out headlight!!
