Had my 4x4 truck in for a oil change and 21 point inspection on Nov 27, 2009. 3 weeks later I had a metal grinding noice and my 4x4 failed when I engaged it. I immediately went to my local GM dealer and it was discovered that my front differential was completely dry of oil. On Friday November 20 I dropped my new 2009 GMC off to have it undercoated at 5:00 pm so they could wash and have it dry to undercoat Saturday morning. I have a 2000 Toyota Sienna that is in great shape and that is being kept in great shape with service records at the local dealership. The Emission test was required at the time of plate renewal. I took it to the Pennziol (Penzoil) 10 Minute oil change for an Emission test. The car used to score 14 or 16 on the Nox criterion. To my surprise it failed for over 1000 on the Nox reading.
