I have purchased Santro Xo on 26th Sep 06 from Lakshmi Hyundai, Visakhapatnam and was offered an Exchange discount of Rs.5000/- (I have sold a Maruti 800 car). I have this Santro Xing erlx purchased in May, 2006. This is indeed a cool machine specially on city roads and of course on highways, with superb driving comfort. Do not go by ISO certification. They do not even have a proper office in Gurgaon. I have given my goods & car shipment based on this certification & later realized this organization no where fits into that certification. They do not have offices in any other city & reply on other vendors. No response for phone calls - they simply do not answer your calls. I have purchased a Samsung Window A/c On 29th April, and on 10th April, it started making a huge noise, I registered a complaint on Samsung service center on 11th may and till today (14th April 2007) until 7:00 pm no one has come to attend the complaint. I purchased a 275L Luxury SF Refrigerator from Arvee Sales Agencies, New Delhi in Jan 2004 which stopped cooling promptly after its warranty period of one year in Jun 05. I paid for its servicing and have been paying Rs 1230 every year during summers since the timer, despite being "Made in USA", has a warranty of three months and lasts exactly a year. I sincerely feel that this is precisely the reason why Electrolux is losing the Indian market to the Korean products, low reliability, poor value for money and sub standard technology. I am not able to find a single Gas agency that will provide me with a new Gas connection without selling the Stove. They are charging Rs. 3600 for a new Gas connection with the stove.
