We have been unable to get resolution with LHVC over an upcoming reservation. We made the reservation almost 2 years ago and were told in writing that we would be put in the new villas for our stay. Upon checking on our reservation in September I was told that there was no guarantee. Since that time I have tried to contact the Jackie Bramhill, Customer Service Manager, to no avail. She will not answer my calls or emails. When I contact the resort they will not tell me who is in charge and get me to that person. The runaround continues and the trip quickly approaches. Last night i was in a hotel with my girl friend and we ordered a club soda and a coca cola, when we opened the bottle so my girlfriend could take some pills and when she swallowed she new there was bleach in the bottle . The staff at Palma Real are eager to book atour or show you their vacation club. Try to complain about service and you get ignored and shown a lot of BS about protocol. Case in point. Stayed at this resort and ordered a bottle of wine. When the wine went bad we complained. The pompous manager Cesar Garcia simply told us over and over about the protocol for ordering the wine. I live in the Dominican Republic for four years and I must use private forwarding services to receive packages and mail as the government postal service can take several months to get anything, along with having to pay off different people, if you get anything at all! On May 19th my wife and I flew from Philadelphia to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. We were going to a friend’s wedding. The resort was the RIU Palace Punta Cana.
