We just received a "demand for payment" for services to a property that we sold 3 years ago. We did not receive anything from them prior to the nasty letter demanding payment and a threat to turn it over to a collection agency. My wife and I recently moved into a Condo in Maryland. We were shocked to receive our first energy bill of ~300 dollars for the first month. I did a criminal check on someone I was going to hire. www.privateeye.com promises a lot, takes your money and gives you nothing. They show marvelous samples of the info you are going to receive. Someone stole my atm number some way and was charging things to my account. I discovered this on Mon. 08/13/07. I went to my bank and filed a fraud complaint and they returned all NSF and charges to my account. They had to send a check back that I had written at Walmart.
