My GE washing machine broke and flooded the laundry room. The repairman opened up the washing machine and found that the drainpipe between the tub and pump had split. He stated that this was very unusual. Upon further investigation he discovered that two of the dampening straps (shock absorbers) were broken. Why did they break? I was notified by capital one credit card representatives, that I was late on payments from charges that started in December of 2006. I payed the card off so I had a zero balance and new this. We stayed at this motel a few weeks ago on our way home from the south. The reception area looked very nice and seemed well heated. The charge was $80+ for a room. We rented a room and when we got to the room there was no heat. The man said to give it a few hours and it would get warm. Apparently none of the rooms in that motel are heated - they don't turn any heat on even in the dead of winter and it remains that way until a customer arrive to rent the room.
