ur executive have miss behave
i have purchace one airtel demo in our area distributor.many days after my number has been closed without information . ihave very time talk with sunnil dall who is the executive head of airtel in amritsar. many days he said ur number is go on process . but today he use abuse me and who asked u do any thing i have no run ur number. my demo numbei is 9779506176. my number have 500rs.. alerady save in my account pls...u take action ...

complain regarding GPRS offer
To whom it may concern,
I never got bothered by unwanted activations of plans and balance deductions to this extent that i have to register a complaint, because this time what i feel is serious lack of thought application in offers introduction. Here is my pain in brief:
I received a customer care sms on 9-4-2011 stating that on recharge of Rs.98 2GB of internet usage will be granted instantly and remaing 4GB will be sanctioned within next 48 hrs. Finding this offer lucrative, i recharged my phone with Rs.222 on 10-4-2011 (can be verified in airtel records) and then i activated my Rs.98 plan by using number *567#. Rs.98 was deducted from my balance and my internet account was recharged with 2 GB data instantly. Everything is Ok till now but the frustrations starts when i called to airtel complaint helpline when i realised that remaining 4GB has not been sanctioned to my internet account. The reply that i got from all customer care representatives (3 of them, at different levels of organizational hierarchy of airtel) is that i am not eligible for that extra 4GB offer as i recharged my internet account using *567# and i didnt run to an easyrecharge dealer. They were trying to teach me definition of recharge, which is as per them is to get recharged from dealers and shopkeepers through easy recharge. This reasoning is most unthoghtfull to say the least, as the customers' perspective is totally ignored. How can someone expect a customer to understand that he/she has to get it recharged from shop and not from balance, because for customer both are same as he/she is paying the same amount in both cases. As in my case itself, i recharged my main account on 10-4-2011 with Rs.222 and then used *567# to activate my internet account, which cost me Rs.98. If it was stated clearly in promotional sms to recharge at a shop then i cpould have done the same.
But above all, what i feel is that there is no planning behind such offers, i mean what difference does it make to a customer if he/she gets recharge from phone or shopkeeper, in either case he/she has to pay Rs.98.
Kindly register this as official complaint, awaiting for a satisfactory reply.

Promotional Calls
I'm sure I echo a lot of professionals in India when I say that its ridiculously irritating to receive calls from Banks offering you loans, credit cards and what not! I registered with the National Do Not Disturb Registry which I feel is honestly a joke as nothing seems to have changed. I patiently waited the 45 days time period stipulated for the DND service to be active and yet after several months I still receive calls from various establishments. Not surprisingly, AirTel seems to have reached a very profitable customer base that they can now ignore their longstanding customers. Several calls to them have been unfruitful. Another interesting topic is the appalling service offered by their call centres. Being in a metro like Bangalore, one would expect these people to be able to comprehend and communicate effectively. Yet that seems to be a distant dream. Why does quality elude such a company?
I have shifted my home phone and internet services to BSNL after much deliberation. My mobile and blackberry are now looking for new hosts. I know several people who are now weighing their options when it comes to Operators. However, it seems we're having to choose among the best of the worst. Sad situation, this.

Airtel prepaid to postpaid conversion
Iam holding Airtel prepaid sim card. Applied for prepaid to postpaid conversion a month ago. Submitted the proofs and verfication is also done. They charged Rs.100/- for the conversion.
But till now it is not activated. They have given new sim card and when i install it in phone, it is showing as 'unregistered sim'. Pissed off calling hundred time daily to the Airtel representatives.

I had one phone no. 9007005704 in my name KARAMJIT KAUR vide relation no.1020895906. I had applied to migrate from post paid to prepaid. I had visited at your ARC at Bhupen Bose Avenue, KOLKATA, WB. but without any result.On dt. 11/02/2011 your collection agent visited at my add. After much negotiation an amt of Rs. 500 ( five hundred only) was finalised which I paid on the spot vide receipt no.WBO/2075944 and a new sim card for prepaid connection was given to me. As I had already destroyed the old sim there is no scope of using postpaid connection but I am still receiving the bill. Today I again paid visit to your ARC to submit complaint instead they gave me your e-mail id to submit my complaint. So please look into the matter and close this chapter.

billing
hi,
Initially i had opted for advance rental broadband scheme, which says pay 5-months bill in advance and get 6th month free internet usage.
At the end of 6th month i got a call from customer care and they asked me whether to continue with advance rental plan or the normal plan...
I confirmed that i will go with advance rental plan and i'm ready to pay 5-months rent in advance...
when i was expecting the bill of 5-months advance scheme, , to my surprise i received a bill of 931Rs.
since then i'm calling customer-care but they are not responding properly...some say u have to pay the bill...some say it has been activated from next month so you have to pay this month bill...but the fact is it has been activated on 28th of feb only...please take necessary action and resolve this issue as soon as possible...

not satisfied with service
sir i gave a feedback 6 days before in this board and so a person from mobile no +919717894317 called me and he said that he will take necessary steps to clear my problem but till today(2 days) they did not take any steps to solve my problem if i contact that number and ask they too repeating the same statement. i am very disturbed mentally .so i tried to change my network using portability option to AIRCEL network and gave my proof and filled statement regarding my network change . AIRTEL is not allowing to do that too . a message from aircel stating that (Dear customer, YOur request of mobile number portability is reject by Bharti Airtel (GSM)due to there are subsisting contractualobligation from the subscriber agreement ). WHAT SHALL I DO. I AM VERY ASHAMED TO BE THEIR CUSTOMER.plz give me the necessary idea to chane my network to AIRCEL. i dont like to be a airtel customer.i dont like to accept any type of compramise from airtel.
