Unnecessary deduction
they are un necessary deducting Rs. 15 every week and it is from last 5 - 6 months. Infact i called a lot of times to the customer care but they don't help me out.
I think the customer care faculty of the company is not for the help of customer but to irritate in one or the other way. i am so irritated now i just want that it will stop now other wise i have to consult the consumer court because i have told them a lot of times.
please help me in this regard so that this deduction will stop on my mobile phone

Fraud billing
Airtel Fraud Billing.

I went to USA for business purpose for the duration of 1 Week. From USA through Dial91 i made calls to india. I made 21 calls in total. But im suprised to see airtel bill. they made charges for 34 calls each call costs 55 Rs. i talked to customer care so many times but the result, as everyone knows waste of time. Then i got the call histroy from Dial 91 with all the evidence i send it to appelate team for the justification. But the team replies with single line our billing is correct. I talked to the appelate representative subramni for about 20 min. I explanied my situation with complete evidence so many time. he also stand my the word " i understand your situation but our billing is correct" I fed up with is issue for the last 2 weeks.
Now i have to pay for all 34 calls whether i made it or not doesn't matter. since it is reflected in the bill i have to pay the bill.
Fuck off Airtel.

Complain against disconnection of Line No 9831520637
Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that the above mentioned line has been inactive since last Sunday dated 3rd April 2011 without any prior information. It is a post paid connection and for your kind information there is no due till date.
My father has also a separate connection no:9903385746 which shows a due.But his address and my address are totally different and I have no connection with that address.I am not related in any way to this due amount, yet my connection has been suspended.
I therefore request you please take suitable steps and activate my line as soon as possible.

DND service
I am registerd to DND service to fully blocked. The registration no is S1038185136 and it got activated and all promo calls and messages were stopped for few days. I have again started getting the promo calls and messages from airtel of which i'm fed up.
The 121 customer helpline is just useless. I am being told that the call is been transferred to the CC executive and immediately disconnected.
It seems like airtel has gained lot of customers and failing to maintain the quality of service they provided before.

Fraud by airtel for 3G
Hello,

I have received a bill for 4k+ this month of which around Rs. 3500 is for 3G usage for 4days. My problem is that the tariff plan they chose to bill me for is "pay as you go" - 30p/10kb. I never received an option to chose a tariff plan. The way it goes is - first you send 3G to 121 and the service gets activated, then again you send 3G to select the tariff plan. I sent about 4 SMS after the first one to get this option, but I never received any info on selecting a tariff plan. Then I tried calling their service # 121 to chose a tariff plan the very day, as I had some work to be done using this 3G service. However, 9 attempts could not get me through to a person. As you can see the same in the attached document. I cannot describe the amount of trauma this has costed me and the time taken over calls to explain the customer service what my problem is. The airtel customer service informed me on the 10th that the charges will be revoked in the next bill and that I will not have any disruption of service. But a few days later the opposite happens and now the Airtel agent says that he hasnt even said that. I am deeply frustrated and hope that someone can help me get the best of unfair trade by Airtel.

BAd Airtel Customer Service and Illegal Deducitons
I thought Idea Cellular customer service people did not have enough knowledge about their product and could never answer any query satisfactorily.
And I thought Airtel was much better than the rest.
Well..guess what! I was wrong. And i have no qualms in admitting it.

Airtel has the worst service ever.
I got myself a new Pre-Paid connection (9860646001) to get my BB activated.
After activation of the card they said BB would be activated in about 24 hours.
I took about 3 days actually to get things started.

And the moment I started using Airtel, automatic deduction of Rs.60 took place. And for what - the filthy service of FriendzChat and some Astrology shite.
I contacted their customer service and they said they would look into it. But for a good 5 days there was no response.
And umpteen calls later when i finally got through a customer executive, i was bound to lose my temper (for having answered the same lame questions over and over again).
The outburst of anger came as i used a single profane word (and I'm not apologizing for it - EVER!)
The agent has the audacity to say- "Sabhyata se baat keejiye"
Well - Mr."Sabhyata" if only you guys worked with "sabhyata" users wouldn't have to lose it on you.

Secondly - having spoken to their manager - a certain Mr. Mukesh who assured that the deductions would be refunded that very day - it was no surprise that for the next 4 days there was no such transaction made.

And to top it all - they even blocked my number from being connected to the customer care service numbers (121 and 198).

This is surely a silver lining for Airtel.
If you can't handle a customer and complaints against their company - the best is to block the customer.
I say, it's a wonderful scheme to keep customer at bay. But do they realize that Consumer Forums do take up our case and fight for us.
Let them also remember that the common man is backed by the media.

If I wish to indulge in charity- it is my choice where and how I give my money. I will never appreciate a brand like Airtel STEALING my money from my account.

Abusing the female customers
A guy by name peter called me and he has gone to my house and shouted in bad language. He is telling that the addresss is given you pay the bill immediately and he is telling to my husband that he will murder him. I don't understand why airtel is hiring these kind of people. Not giving respect to females.

i don't start any service in airtel and there is a hidden cost in services .airtel is always has been charges money when i ask about charges to coustmer care he says you take this or this subscistion.i fell paralise about all these things.i have lost lots of money.plz help me.

not satisfied with service
i was not able to connect with the customer care executive to clarify my doubts, if i ask from other mobile they are saying to sent MYAIRTEL to 121 but no solution to my number. ther is no immediate action to solve customer problem from their side . above all their customer care service is too worst compared to other networks .
