Airtel Customer care service
Is Airtel closed their customer service call centers. I called to 198 lot of times to register a complaint about VAS. But they cannot connect to customer care executive. They only give a recoreded voice about activating and deactivating VAS and says 'thank you for calling to Airtel'.
Airtel published in their website that 198 is for customer complaints. What is this? Is aitel the only mobile service providers in India?. I believe they think so.

Hi my name is Mohammad M Shaikh, one of the Airtel consumer, , My number is 9975231904 Maharashtra new customer since January 2011 my concern is regarding poor and pathetic customer service at 121 and 198 customer care number, I've subscribed for SMS pack of Rs.67 in which I was informed that I'll be getting around 500 sms free and yes it was free for 20-23days, but then suddenly I realized that I'm getting charged for the Free sms even though my sms pack service was valid, they charged me for 6 messages then when I called up 198 I was informed that its a know issue, all the sms pack subscribers been facing this problem, but do not worry you will be getting that money back with in 4hrs, I didn't get the money back on top of it the next day I started getting charged again for the SMS, then I called the same number again and then I was informed that the scheme has been changed to all of the customers so hereafter every messages beyond 100sms will be charged from the main account, Oh hello, I never get any notification so how can these company can charged me withing bringing this in to my notice and the most hurting part was when I ask the agent to transfer this to over the supervisor and the supervisor came In and asked me my concern when I told him yesterday it was a different reason now it's different he hung up on me on when I tried connecting back again they hung up on me, I do not understand what kinda customer service we are talking about here, I'm really in a mood to screw the happiness of the service which I'm getting no matter what it takes from me, one of my friend is having same sms pack of Rs67 he is not getting charged over 100sms why is that so huh? am I not paying for the service you are charging as per you required they why you are not giving the proper service, now my another complaint is about the IVR I don't know why the hell agents or the supervisor have removed the option of selecting speak to the representative I do not have that option anymore on the IVR on 121 neither in 198, I want an action to be taken on those representatives by pulling out the calls which I made from my number on 28th February 2011 or 27th February 2011 early morning please kindly take an action upon the agents and rectify my problems I'm getting charged over 100sms and not able to have the IVR option to speak to the rep please it's a humble request else I'm searching on it, if I get a bingo I will toss them up. Is this called a customer service or just a money making business, what care we are talking about here, ah c'mon I haven't heard about such customer service from any service provider kicking off from the IVR and hanging up the phone over the customer by agents and supervisors and without any notification and our knowledge we have been charged how others can enjoy the same scheme why me??? Would like to hear some positive actions taken against the agents and solve my problem asap please.

Tariff plan changed without consent or any warning
Since 28th February 2011 airel has been charging me Re. 1 for local sms and Rs. 1.50 for national sms whereas my normal tariffs were 10p for local and 30p for national. So this suggests they changed my tariffs without any consent and I feel very unhappy and cheated. Also, I had activated a sms plan of 95 Rs which provides 500 sms per day for a month which has been deactivated 6 days prior to its actual expiry. I called up customer care and they said it'll be resolved but the problem persists and now the customer care wont patch me through to an executive. I am forced to post online complaints on account of this. The only reason why I used airtel was the cheap sms tariff but since that has been changed there is no reason to use airtel. I sincerely hope they revert back to my old tariffs or I shall be forced to discontinue the use of their sloppy service

change in my offer and discounetcing my call when i ws in call with customercare n blocking my number to not to call customercare
on feb 17th near 0900 hours i got a call from Airtel. then they asked me several question about portability cz i had sen a msg 2 change my network. after asking many uestion they offered me one good offer it contains Airtel2Airtel 10 ps for min. then Airtel2Other 30 ps for a min. and i accepted that offer. then after many days.. i think from last sunday my offer is changed "without any information". and now its costing me any mobile seconds for a min... after that i called airtel customercare. bt its not conecting frm long time... so i tried frm another airtel number then called them. then one fellow recived my call... then i explained him evrything on 1st march near 2200 hours.. 1stly he talked nicely.. then he started 2 saying that i dont having any offers like 10ps n 30ps.. bt i said i got call from airtel den they told me 2 send a msg like "cncl" to "222" so den i got conformation msg n all... but he said no sir u dont having this kind of any offer and all... then i asked him do u think im lieng here like that. then i asked him okay! now tell me i recharged 52 rupees on 26 feb 2011 for messege pack for 30days.. but now.. i having any offers whci i recharged for them. . . but he dint asnswerd anything but suddnly he cut my call... without saying anything.. and now from that number also i cant call them... why itz happening?? no one there to control this "robbery"?? if they need money means.. they can beg me... but not cheating like this... im using Airtel from last 6 years... but now days for competaion they doing like this... because "i thought" Airtel ws the best netwrk company.. but now.. che! i ws damn wrong.. my number is 96630 52570
i hope i can get better solution here.. cz i knw that they not going to return my money for any cost... but am just waiting for thier appology and my offer n messege pack back...!!! thats all
if i dint get any solution means... i will think i wasted my 18 min of life by regestering here n typing this all thing...!!!

My postpaid mobile number is 9940065494 and an unfortunate customer for the 5 th year, when i approched the c, service
for change of bill plan in Nov-2010 to reduce my bills from an average of 2300/- to further down, but by end of december when i received my bill i was shocked to see my bill has gone up to 3600/-, i expressed my shock to the cust service dept by calling 121 from my mobile and they confirmed that the complaint will be viewed with care and in 48 hours it would be resolved, i too get a call from Airtel not for service and to collect the bill sent by them through various agencies.The same Airtel has a facility of topping with 60/- for 20000 sms, but in a peculier manner they charged me 1300/- for using SMS
There is no point in advertising with saying that best service provider? winner without solving single genuine customer
service query solved.I cant spent time in running behind these irresponsible officers where their idea to act only as a collection agent for outstanding bill dues. IHAVE NO OBJECTION TO PAY MY ACTUAL DUES IT IS WHOLLY THE MISTAKE COMMITTED BY UNTRAINED CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICERS, LEAVING ALL THE AMOUNT CHARGED FOR SMS AND PENALTY, HPOING FOR A QUERY RESOLVED INTIME AND TO DO SOME THING FOR THE FIRST TIME AS A CUSTOMER SERVICE, FORGET AS COLLECTION AGENT AND SPEND ATLEAST ONE MINUTE IF I DESERVE THE SAME

Not able to talk with customer care persons
Actually i bought one mumbai sim card and activated the STD pack RS.32 booster. but, the call charges of the booster is different than i thought. so, for iam in need of cancelling the booster contacted the customer care. i tried to speak with customer care executive for more than 10times, its telling when enter the option to speak, (just *121# for further queries, thank you for calling airtel) this is it. iam soo upset, the call charges of mine gone higher due to this booster. i really dont know how to cancel this..?

regarding the customer care service persons response
I just now called the customer care services to clarify all the rate tariff and was very unsatisfied with the response of her.Her name is Jayapradha spoke to her from my number at9.57am today(1/3/2010).She does not know how to talk to a customer she is talking in a sacarstic manner and is shouting back at me.And to tell about the airtel service its bull shit!!!initially the 195 booster had local and national sms free then again they stopped that scheme and oonly it was acting as a call rate cutter then now they have introduced another tariff saying that whatever message booster we apply its only 100 msg per day, we trust their service and put the booster but these people even without intimation they change the plans and highly irritate us.In clarifying these doubts that Jayapradha lady is sleeping and answering and when asked to connect to the higher officials she gives a lame excuse saying that still the senior officials has not come to work.it was really surprised to look how people are so lazy and sit in their office giving a stupid response.

unexpected bill
What is Wap i don't know still i have messege from airtel on 20/01/2011 to stop my all gprs based service, even all valuaded services and i got confirmation sms from airtel i have it at present in my mobile but you still getting me every second 0.30 paisa bill from 20/01/2011
last i eject airtel card from my mobile i was disconect card on 27/01/2011 on 11:30am
in detail bill if i was stoped all service so how to claim me for gprs data that means from last 3 months bill. you claim me as a wap_all ?
i am ready for pay all of your bill but you just get it to me satisfatory answer. what is WAP_ALL ...
which type of access you getting me when i was closed all gprs service and you got me confirmation about it
and also your executive also offered me on 21/01/11 gprs98 plan free of charge because i am apply for mobile portibillity .but there is no any plan activate and from last 2 month i want to activate that plan and i getting confirmation so many times for it but you didn't activate it.
and on 20/01/11 i was deactivate all type gprs data (airtel live) but still you claim me wap_all bill
how it possible ?
