making mistakes on my mortage
Bank of america service sucks big time. Here is why every time I make a mortage payment on time or even days before payment is due. They make a huge stupid so called mistakes because they are all dumpies working at this bank. The compliants I have range from getting my payment loss or my checks lost, an taking out the mortage payment twice in the same month. Again their mistake you think in this day they would be happy to take your payment an not make mistakes or try to be nice about it or help the customer to fix their Mistakes!!! NO way that would be asking to much from this great Big Bank of America.

Scam?
Recieved an email that has Bank of America's heading at the top of the page. "ACCOUNT SUSPENSION ALERT"
However, the email address I recieved showed the sending email address as: [email protected]
I just can't read where this email address looks anything like it wouild be tied in with Bk Of Amer.
The email letter states that my account will be suspended unless I verify my account information. It stated that I have 24 hrs to respond or my account will be suspended. It also stated that someone tried to access my account from a different location.
I would appreciate you looking into this matter and advising me if this is some kind of scam. I of course did not respond to the email. I instead went to a Bk of Amer. branch to speak to a bank rep. The gentleman gave me this abuse email address to file a complaint. He said it looked like a scam to just try and get my bank info. Thank you!

FHA loan
Bank Of Satan!!

FHA=FORECLOSURE!!
If you have a B of A / FHA loan... Don't hold your breath on a loan mod, FYI.. there is no incentive to help you especially, because our idiot goverment promised to pay a fha loan in full if it defaults, even covers B of A with loss of propertyvalue to cover the difference. Wow, what a sweetheart deal they got!!!

If you have (or had like me) and FHA loan serviced by B of A, check to see if your payments went up- that they didn't accidently double your property taxes- only reason I defaulted, too late for me, I couldn't get them to fix the error of and extra $500 a month. With FHA, you have to have an impounded account, problem is the servicer is unable to process basic mathematics. Please double check your payments if they increased. Bank of Satan !! I heard the Company Execs got a pay raise this year and BONUS checks!!! Oh yeah, and the government gave them millions more in tax payer money!! FHA = Foreclosure!!!

customer service
Because of my past experiences with Bank of America, I have started sending money orders certified... Once again Bank of America has lost my payment, and I have all the proof including the signatures from Bank of America signed for it, but they are putting it back on me to resubmit the payment. It can take up to 30 days to get the money ordered refunded, and now I am late on my payment... but they don't seem to care. Their only offer to make it better was to waive the phone fee to pay them more money... money they lost! To make matters worse I am trying to get a loan with someone else, and I have spent hours on the phone with bank of america trying to simply get a statement of what is currently owed... not what is owed on the last statement but what is currently owed. Not only can they not send me that, but they cannot understand what I am asking for. I kept asking over and over again for a statement to show what the status is of teh account right now, and the customer service rep kept offering me past statements. When I told her i needed to show what was owed right now, she offered me a statement from January.

Customer Service
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE BANK IN THE COUNTRY. Everybody knows it. When are those rednecks in Charlotte going to do something about it. Hiring people with IQ's over 40 might help.

Medallion Guarantee
My wife went into our local BofA branch in West Islip, NY to have them provide a medallion guarantee (MG) of her signature. The MG is to be used to transfer the stock of her recently deceased father into her name. The MG is nothing more than a stamp from a bank acknowledging that her signature is correct, sort of like a notary. Since we have our accounts at BofA, and they have her signature on file, this is an easy thing to do. It's also a requirement of the bank. Unfortunately, she came across an idiot in customer service that refused to provide this basic service. She went back the next day with a death certificate, court letters and a note from our attorney. My wife was refused again. The woman was extremely rude. Everyone in the industry (including me) knows that this is no big deal and should be a service provided. The other thing we all know is that BofA is the worst client service bank on the planet. I worked for them and can attest to that. Let's all boycott this backwater institution.

Modification Help .....Really???
It is obvious that Bank of America does not want to work with people, they teach there customer service representatives to lie and give the consumer the run around. In November of 2010, when I called there loan modification department and told them there was a chance of imminent default they told me that I qualified for the modification and they were mailing the modification package out to me. Finally I missed my payment in January, one cause I could not and two that maybe it will get their attention. ...it did alright ...since then I am being hounded by their Loan Counselling department. Today is the 8th of March, 2011 and I have been receiving threats os foreclosure calls from there loan counselling department at least 15 times a day but the package has still not arrived. There reps kept telling me it has been mailed and re-send by Fed Ex...where is this elusive package. And today I called again and their representative tells me the package was never sent out. I have the ID numbers of people I spoke to.

Loan Modification Fraud
August 12, 2010 BAC sent a loan modification contract for us to sign and return. The new monthly payment was 1357.92. Interest rate first 5 years was 2.000%. We signed and returned. They were to sign and close in October. It was never closed.
March 2, 2011 BAC changed my loan number and sent a new loan modification contract for us to sign and return. The new monthly payment is 2321.49. Interest rate first 5 years is 4, 5%. They now have us set up for default if we don't pay new amount and in line for foreclosure. What a bunch of crooks!

Fraud / Inability to Close Account
Two years ago I lost my debit card. Went to BOA branch and reported it they issued a new temp card. You would think BOA would put a stop on a lost card. I found out two years later when BOA called me detecting fraud. Over 20 fraudulent charges were posted the same day.To my surprise the charges were made on a card reported lost and should have been cancelled 2 yrs ago. I contacted BOA and reported the fraudulent charges some of which are reaccuring charges if not stopped would continue every month. The Fraud Dept assured i will get credited for these charges and no other charges could be made. A week later 15 more fraudulant charges were made to the same card. I could not see how they allowed this since the card suppose to have a stop on it.Called again got the same re assurance and 5 days later more fraudulent charges. Now they allowed the fraudulent persons to back date the bills and the charges still went through. Frustrated I decided to draw out the remaining money and close my account . Easier said than done. I closed my account. Then when BOA credited the fraudulent charges the account reopened without my permission. Guess what the fraudulent charges began again once the account re opened against my will. I again went to the bank complained and they closed the account again. They cant seemm to explain why my account remained active but went and closed it. I requested any credits to be sent to me by check. A week later BOA posted a credit to the closed account and re opened my account without my permission again.Like before once opened the fraudulent charges continued. Being totally frustrated I went to the bank compaining. A closed account should be closed period.Any activity to a closed account should be denied plain and simple. Not at Bank of America so if you have fraud to an account and close it is good chance it is not closed. Nothing in place to stop someone from crediting a $1 to your closed account re opening it and charge you a $100 or more in fraudulent charges a week later . Well so frustrated I contacted the OCC (Office of Currency Commisssioner). The site online and you get the form and file a complaint by mail. Not long after my complsaint was received, I got a call from someone at executive office of BOA. They tried to play stupid. When I asked how was charges made to a card reported lost 2 yrs ago and why i can not close my account where its truely dead they could not answer it. I responded when the OCC ask you that I am sure you need to give them a answer. The next day the problem was corrected. remember if you have a complaint like this against BOA submit the compaint to the OCC Office of Currency Commissioner that regulates banks.Hopefully with enough complaints submuitted the OCC will stop this Giant from doing what they want to the hard working citizens of the US.
