Beware
The store had multiple sale signs in a section that read "Morona button up shirts and sweaters $4.98." on a rack immediately beneath those signs was a large selection of Morona button-up shirts. I grabbed 3 and went to the checkout. They each rung up for around $20, the total being $60 or so. Management would not honor the pricing and they took all of the signs down. They offered VERY poor customer service (I even talked to the store manager). This is not the first time this has happened. In other cases I did not realize the price was wrong until I was already home. ALWAYS double check your Target prices, they are horrible at keeping their SKUs up-to-date.

Extended Warranty
I bought 2 dvd players for my car and 3 year extended warranty.
Less than a year my dvd player stop playing so I called to claim warranty.
The ONLY warranty rep. name Cindy who seem to have the worst day of her life or just a bitch gave me and wife the worst service of our life. Even though it was a wear problem she said we have to talk to manufacture to see if they will cover it and they will CHARGE US for new dvd players. So I asked her why I bought this 3 year warranty that says "Service plan offers:Normal wear and tear item". She told me the same bs. When I asked for her supervisor, she would said it would take around 24 hours.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM TARGET BECAUSE IF IT BREAKS YOU ARE SCREWED...EVEN WITH 3 YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY.

Pharmacist Refuses to Fill Prescription
I have been getting several of my prescriptions filled at Target for over two years. Two days ago I went to get one of them filled. The drug is a controlled substance so I have to get a new prescripton every month from my doctor so she gives me two at a time and when one runs out then I have the next prescription. So for this SAME DRUG and the PRESCRIPTION EXACTLY THE WAY IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN for over two years, when I dropped it off to be filled while I bought groceries I asked if they had a suffiient quantity on hand and was told yes. So I was getting groceries when they called my name over the P.A. and this different pharmacist who I later learned (Crystal is her name) is actually the supervisor of this Target pharmacy. But she told me she could not fill the scrip because my doctor wrote it wrong. Then she started on about tablets and capsules and blah blah. Anyway I said well then please call the doctor and she said "I Can't" (I won't would be more accurate). So basically she tells me she won't fill this drug that I have gotten there for over two years and she won't call to get her question answered. I abandoned a cart full of groceries and left. I went to another totally different pharmacy (not Target), gave them the scrip and they filled it within 15 minutes with no hassel. So obviously Target filled it before and then this other pharmacy filled it but Crystal the supervisor refused (she kept saying IT'S AGAINST THE LAW (for me to fill it). I had just gotten electrical/phone service restored to my house after it was out almost 2 days due to a storm and really didn't need the additional hassle or the annoyance. I was so furious I never even thought to point out that if it was breaking the law then Target had been breaking it every month for 2 years.

I called two days later and talked to another pharmacist and he got out all my old scrips and apologized and said he saw what the problem was the doctor wrote it for tablets but the drug name (not generic) came in capsules. It seems the capsules are timed release. Based on this other pharmacist REASONING POWER he was able to figure out, as every pharmacist had before, that it was indeed supposed to be tablets as written and not capsules and he knew that because the scrip of mine is for 7 pills a day throughout the day and it wouldn't be written with timed release capsules as it would be an overdose. PLus he said if he had questions he would just call the doctor. I said I asked Crystal to and she flat out REFUSED to call the doctor. So she (this supervisor, no less) couldn't figure out what everyone else managed to figure out previously and she wouldn't call my doctor, in essence leaving me without my prescription.

I WILL NEVER EVER fill one more prescription at Target if that is the mentality of their supervisor. This older pharmacist I talked to said he was going to take it upon himself to move it up a level to Crystal's supervisor so they know the kind of unacceptable behavior, rudeness and unresponsiveness to my requests that they can expect from this "Supervisor" who is apparently young and "upwardly mobile" despite the fact that she doesn't know what she's doing. Target apparently advances not the people with the knowledge but the Young and Up and Coming.

Give me the tried and true experienced every time and save me from Supervisors (who don't deserve to be) every time.

I have been sorry to see my favorite stacking metal skirt hangers missing
I have been sorry to see my favorite stacking metal (not plastic) skirt hangers missing from my favorite Target store (Overland Park, KS) - the ones that have a hook on them so that you can hang 2 or 3 skirts/pants in one space on your closet rod. I live in a retirement community and closet space is limited, so I have made good use of the stacking hangers for my skirts and pants. I hope they are not gone forever or that you can refer me to another source if you are no longer stocking them.

Postal delivery coupon books
Several customers use the coupon books that they receive in their mail boxes. What drives the decision of who gets these coupon books and who does not? I have had a Target chg for many years and have never received a coupon book in the mail. It seems that it isn't zip code generated or if you have a Target credit card or not? I sure would like to be one of the recipients of these coupon books.

Personnel they hire leave a lot to be desired
The Target store in our area is not a bad store to shop in -meaning it is generally clean and stocked. However the personnel they hire leave a lot to be desired!! These people are rude and lack even the most basic skills of customer service. There are no smiles, hardly any thank yous and they act like you should be thankful that they took time out from their socializing at the registers to check you out. These people spend so much time talking about their personal problems its a wonder that any work gets done at all. Not to mention these talk sessions generally block the aisle that i, "the guest" am trying to shop in. These conversations are very rude because i "the guest" did not come to your store to listen to your "team members" personal problems.

This kind of thing happened just last night when 3 "team members" thought it was more important to continue discussing the weather while my daughter and i stood there waiting to get one thing checked out. Then as we were leaving the store my young daughter had to go to the restroom which of course was closed for cleaning!
Closed for cleaning during a busy holiday shopping time with lots of "guests" in the store. The only other bathroom option was the unisex bathroom which had no toilet paper!! Bravo target. Why can't they clean the bathrooms after the store closes???? When i asked a manager about this he was very rude and not at all apologetic about the situation. Again thanks for the less than stellar customer service!!

It is unfortunate sailer did not even call for a manager to help resolve the situation
On June 16 I went to the Target store 2501 in Hampton, Virginia. As usual, I spent $249.00. I have always enjoyed shopping at Target and have only had good experiences while shopping there. That is until today, June 26. Two of the many items I had purchased were a potty seat for my grandson and a beach chair. They both remained in the trunk of my car since purchasing them. I decided I did not need a potty seat for one day a week and did not need the beach chair, so I went to the store to return them today.

Crystal, at customer service, waited on me. She asked me what was wrong with the chair and I told her it had not been out of the trunk of my car, I just didn’t think I needed it. At that time she pointed out black marks on the arm rests. I informed her they appeared to me tape marks and with my finger was able to rub them off. She stated that the chair looked like it had been used. I informed her that it had not been used and had not even been out my trunk. After that she looked over the chair and pointed to a scratch on the bottom and again stated the chair appeared to have been used. At this point I asked her if the scratch could have happened when the chairs were pulled off the top rack in the store for people to try out. She didn’t think that would happen. I repeated it had not been out of my trunk and the tags were still properly intact. She then pointed to something on the back of the chair and said there was no way she could put this back on the floor for resale. Again, I informed her the chair was NOT used. In my opinion, Crystal was calling me a liar and I don’t appreciate that at all! The chair was on sale for $11.00, and even though money is tight, $11.00 was not going to break me. She took the potty seat and credited my account and I walked out of the store with the unused chair.

I am sorry this has happened because I have enjoyed shopping at Target and like the merchandise carried in the store. It is unfortunate Crystal insinuated I was lying. Before teaching, I did work in retail and was taught the customer was always right. It is unfortunate she did not even call for a manager to help resolve the situation. I thought about asking her to do so when I returned to the store to get the store number, but I was still very angry and her accusations and thought it better to leave.

Worst experience in my life
On tues 6/22/10, i was shopping that morning with my 2 kids. while in the toy dept my daughter needed to use the bathroom. we went to the closest restroom which was by your pharmacy. my son stayed outside of the restroom while i went in with my daughter. i heard my son talking and i cracked the door to see what was going on. my son said that an employee asked if that was his shopping cart and my son told her yes that my mom and sister are in the restroom. the employee took out my personal items and the items that i was going to purchase out of the cart and put them on a store step ladder that was setting close by. the employee couldn't walk to the front of the store to get a cart to do her reset with, so she thinks that a 7 month pregnant women with 2 kids and her arms full of items to purchase can walk back up front to get a cart again. nice to see how the employees really want to treat the people who pay their checks. the store was the target on sam ridley rd.

Two purchases - two bad experiences
Incompetent employees at Target Optical in Aliso Viejo. Two purchases-two bad experiences. Took one month to get my glasses correct. I picked up sunglasses and stated it was too heavy. Without looking at the order or even my sunglasses, Lisa states they are thick because it takes 7 layers to polarize the lenses. Took them back again and Carla states they made plastic instead of polycarbonate. They each blamed one another for the mistake. Lisa does not like to make adjustments for fittings. Seems like she doesn't know how or want liability in case she breaks the frames. She broke my first frames by adjusting them. For my second pair, I had to tell her how to adjust. They both tell me they are trained opticians. I seriously doubt it. Target needs to improve on customer service and to hire competent opticians.
