I HATE UPS February 4, 2011
BAD CUSTOMER SERVICES
UPS IS THE WORST SHIPPING COMPANY EVER. I WAS SUPPOSED TO RECEIVE A PACKAGE BY UPS, BUT OF COURSE UPS SUCKS SO BADDDDDD, THAT I NEVER GOT. FIRST WHEN I TRACKED THE PACKAGE THEY SAID THEY DID NOT HAVE THE RECEIVERS INFO ( IMPOSIBLE BECAUSE IF U DON'T PUT THE RECEVERS INFO IT WOULDN'T GO OUT) I CALLED AND GIVE THEM MY INFO, THEY SAID THE GOT IT ANDTHE READ THE INFO BACK AND EVERYTHING WAS CORRECT. WHEN I CHECKED THE TRACKING INFO ONLINE, IT SAID THAT, OUT OF BUSSINES, I CALLED AGAIN AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THE DRIVER WENT TO THE WRONG ADDRESS, I GOT MAD OF COURSE AND TOLD THEM SO I HAVE TO PAID FOR UPS MISTAKE IT WAS YOUR ERROR AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY COULDN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. THE BEST THING THE CAN DO IS TO RE-SCHEDULED THE DELIVERY. I TOLD THEM THAT I WOULD LIKE TO TALK TO A MANAGER AND THEY PUT ME ON HOLD AND THEN HANG UP. SO NOW I'M SCREWED BAD.

Delayed delivery
I was to receive my son's medication through UPS delivery this past Friday Jan 21, 2011. I had paid the pharmaceutical company extra for this expedited delivery. When I checked late Friday as not delivered yet, I saw UPS had changed delivery date to Monday 1/24/2011 due to "emergency". The "emergency" was not defined.

Since my autistic son depends on his medication and would have to go without the entire weekend with consequences, I called UPS customer service. They refused to even document my concern as a complaint. I at least wanted it documented. I also hoped maybe I could pick up the package since it couldn't be delivered but was never offered that as an option. I knew the local center would be open as I've picked up there in the past.

refund policy
Dont even try and get a refund from UPS. They wont pay. UPS GUARANTEES overnight shipment but has about 10 pages of exceptions in terms and conditions that pretty much GUARNATEES that their guarantee doesnt mean jack squat.

I shipped 2 packages out from the same location in florida at the same time, to the same location, both next day air. One package was shipped UPS, the other Fedex. Both shipped to Branson Missourri.

A big winter storm hit the midwest but my packages both made it all the way to Branson where they both got delayed and were not delivered as guaranteed next day air.

I understand the weather prevented them from delivering my packages.

What I dont understand is why on the next day my Fedex Package (shipped same day, same time, same service, same locations) arrived at its destination but the UPS package did NOT.

I checked UPS online tracking, it said my package was "Out for delivery"

I called UPS, they said the Driver got in an accident. I hung up.

I called UPS again, they said they didnt know where my package was and I'd have to contact the Ups store where I shipped it from. I hung up.

I called UPS again, they said the driver determined the roads were to ICY.

I called UPS again, talked to a supervisor, He said the package hadnt even made it to Branson yet and it was still in a sorting facility and He didnt know anything about any driver accident.

? So what were those other people talking about? How was my package delayed again from a driver getting in an accident when my package never even made to that drivers truck?

I get a different answer EVERY time I call UPS. But one anser. NO REFUND! $40.00 down the drain for GUARANTEED NEXT DAY AIR!

THE FEDEX PACKAGE WAS delivered the same day UPS says their packages were undeliverable.

???? I just want my money back that I paid for next day air.

Destroyed My Bike Denies Insurance
I shipped a Beautiful Bicycle which was destroyed by UPS over Christmas. This Claim was denied by UPS. They say a bicycle box is not strong enough to hold bicycles. The used bicycle shipping box was perfect when it was shipped.

No box could withstand the forces UPS put on this box. It was likely dropped several times on the end, despite the up arrows.

This box safely carried a bicycle 13, 000 miles and delivered it in perfect condition. UPS destroyed it in 1200 miles.

Its ironic that Chinese dock workers, and non union persons delivered the first bike halfway around the world without a mark on the box. and those overpaid union pigs at UPS ruined it in a trip to Las Vegas. A simple web search will produce hundreds of damage claims denied for no good reason. They seem to just take the insurance money and deny everything. Check Consumer Affairs about UPS. The dont care how they treat your stuff and wont pay for the damages their indifference causes.

Remember this if you ship a bicycle, your at your own risk, as they will deny the claim.

DO NOT SHIP WITH UPS, unless you dont care about your items

We need a class action suit. They accepted the merchandise as packed and took the insurance money with the item in plain sight.

Driver said serv area inaccessible-not true
Dec 20-driver left card stating service area inaccessible. Product was pastry for Christmas. I called the 800 number and said UPS delivers here often, without a problem. The Richmond, Ca. location was to call me back. I called again Dec 21 and they said they would deliver by 11:30AM. They did not. On Dec. 27, the last day they could deliver before returning pastry to sender, it was delivered at 7:13PM which is after dark. We were gone, and the pastry sat on our porch for 2 days in pouring rain. UPS is required to try for 3 consecutive days. I Made a complaint & was told Richmond, CA office would call- they did not.

Damages package denies claim
UPS denies insurance claim after damaging my $300 (insured)package I sent to someone. Package is worth $450 + freight. UPS states I didn't package it properly. I have been a major appliance dealer for 30+ years. I know how to package stuff. These idiots ran into it with a fork truck punching a hole in box ripping it apart damaging the heater inside. Triple wrapped in bubble wrap padded with 2 inch styrofoam all corners 1 inch styrofoam on voids on side & any void filled with peanuts. This box was tight with packing prior to shipping no movement or rattles just the way a refrigerator would be packaged. UPS has taken 40+ days to make up their mind telling me this & initially they said they would pay now they are denying the claim, since they did not pack it. I paid for the insurance in good faith & shipped in good faith. UPS screwed me I urge everyone not to use UPS if you value your stuff. That is the last for me.

unfair billing and customs charges
UPS is a shipping company that charges excessive rates on Brokerage and other customs related charges. I always request shippers from the U.S. NOT to ship with UPS as I would rather support a company whose rates are at least more competitive. An example: my recent shipper/supplier from US shipped with UPS - I paid a clearance fee AND a bond fee totalling $80.35, where the same product would have cleared at $46.96 with Fedex. Their latest scam with me was that they split the single shipment (3 pkgs) into 3 separate deliveries and charged SEPARATELY for the brokerage totalling $188.25. Thats over a $100 more than their own inflated cost should have been. My complaint resulted in an adjustment - with an ADDITIONAL charge of $15.00 for adjusting the invoice. Deplorable!

Fails Again - Really Does Not Care!
Paid for expedited shipping from NY to SC.

Package made it to SC and is sitting in a trailer on the UPS yard.

UPS is blaming bad weather for their being too cheap to hire extra help or work overtime to unload the trailers they let back up.

UPS "Customer Service" (Joke to call it that)using a multitude of lies to excuse massive failure. Will not give out contact information for local manager.

They have made it clear that they simply do not care and all I can do is wait until their UNION employees decide to unload the trailers.

Fed Ex delivered EVERYTHING on time as UPS FAILED AGAIN.

Never received order
I am disabled so i've had to order all my xmas gifts online. I ordered a med gray and black cashmere sweater and a black cashmere scarf for my daughter and it never arrivd. I checked the routing with ups and they said they delievered it. we have searched all over and assked the neighbors- nothing. I am not sure if it is macys fault or that of ups. we live in a neighborhood where the houses are far apart and we have a private police force. it is not a place where stealing takes place.

Sucks
Their online "create a shipment" system is very tricky. Due to a change in the weight of a package I was shipping to CA, the system dropped my Saturday delivery request.

My customer was angry and I had to refund her money. But I'm still out $145 to UPS for a NON-SHIPMENT. Even though I requested an intercept the package went to Hollister, CA they did nothing.

I offered to upgrade and PAY the extra to get the package delivered on Saturday, but they said they couldn't do that.

They take the time to measure and weigh your package so they can charge you extra if your numbers are off, but they won't do anything to help you if the delivery instructions are wrong, even if its their fault.
