lying saying their policy is really the law
I bought a movie for my children, after watching several minutes of it i decided this is not the type of movie i would show my children.
I stopped the movie(children are one and three)

I went to return it. Had a receipt and everything. They said that since it was opened I could not return it. I said that I had the recepit, they said it was against the copyright laws to return the opened movie. They never mentioned this before. I told them I would not leave until I got my money back.

At this point I was already frustrated, my three year old daughter started calling me. I told her to keep quiet, when she refused I smacked her across the face because she was not listening to me. At this point a manager came and told me to leave the store or he would call the police. They came here quickly because I said I would leave once I get my money back. The manager and associate lied and said that I abused my child. The police took their side. My three year old had an accident she peed her pants because they refused to let me return the movie. I still have the movie. The next day i got a visit from CPS saying that the police reported me to them for child abuse. I was merely discipling her. I bunished her again for wetting her pants. If I had been allowed to return the movie then I could have taken her to the washroom and she would not have had wet pants, so thanks to your liars I had to discipline my daughter twice, or as you call it abuse her twice.

Unacceptable
I recently purchased prescription eye glasses and sun glasses. I had to make 4 trips to get my eye glasses because the lens were incorrectly cut. twice. On my last visit today, they were still wrong and I had to purchase additional frames when I had already spent over $300.00 orignally. My complaint is not with the Walmart store in Valdosta, GA but with whoever they have to send the lens to to have them cut. They used to do their own lens cutting and I never had a problem. I have used them for over 20 years. Including the additional cost for another frame, I took days off work to go get then since I work out of town. This is not acceptableand should be looked into.

Employment
I have worked with Walmart for 10 years and in those 10 years I have seen far too many changes that have been made. Some for the good but recently for the bad.

Example: Taking the fabric department out each store. Where I live, we have a lot of people who buy fabric and will be and are very upset that the fabric department will be gone within the next 4-5 months.

We have these score cards that if you work in a certain area of the store that you can't go up to help run a register when they need the help. Walmart says that it is far better to be cross-trained in various areas then to be only trained in one. Ha! With this new structure that will be coming and is taking place now if you are cross trained you can't go help out up front, which makes it bad for the customers who have to stand there and wait in those long lines. I would love to be able to run register to help out when they are needed but, noooooo because of this stupid new system, I am not allowed to do it any more but, on Christmas Eve when the store closed at 8 p.m. that evening, I was allowed to run register. I guess the "rules" change from one day to the next. It also depends on who you are and whether or not you are buddy, buddy with the management as to how the rules get bent. There is so much that people don't know about Walmart and how things are run at the store that I work with, it's unreal as to what goes on behind the doors of this particular store and how the employees are treated. If people truly new what goes on behind a Walmart store, they wouldn't shop there at all.

Product care plan
I was gifted a hp laptop and a 2year product care plan from wal-mart.

Well I had the product from the end of March 2007 to around September 2009. the plan kicked in late march 2008. This is a terrible warranty they contract to repair centers that can't repair your product their service centers also don't listen or double check, run the proper diagnostics send proper replacement parts" which melt inside your machine". Sure it is easy to call in and place a service order But I had Four separate cases where my product returned as damaged as before not fix or they couldn't replicate the problem. Then I had to send my belongings in to the center.

These cases took up to two months to get threw. I even talked with a Manager that said they would have the problem looked at which never happened when it was shipped it was a waste of my time. So before it becomes a waste of your time really think about the hp, dell, ext extended plan by calling them.

At this point my care factor is very low for buying things from wal-mart also for anyone that fights on wal-mart behalf my care factor to hear you isn't there I REALLY don't care. This is just a review on what they sell.

I got a reimbursement but it was after calling in so many times the plans not worth the stress that comes with it. If you did buy it and got reimbursed good for you I bought a upgrade to my old laptop.

Can't use them
Recieved a Wal-Mart visa card non reloadable and have tried to use it 3 times but it was declined started off with 50.00 down to 41.00 and have never been able to use it. Went to the Wal-mart store to get help but got nothing. Called the 877-937-4098 and got nothing. Called the store back and talked to a customer service asso. and got nothing. Ask for a manager waited on the phone and they hug up on use so we still know nothing .
Are they someone out there that knows how to get information on these cards. The customer at the store said there had been no complaints but I ran across this big page of complaints about your wal-mart cards so maybe you need to train your employees on how to help the customers with these cards that you sell.

Cashier starting mess on the job with another cashier
I was getting ready to check out on resigter 24. when i heard a cashier in a customer talking about another cashiers . she was telling the man all kinda stuff about the other cashier who was working on paystation. the cashier who check me out was very messy she contiue to say bad things out the other cashier she was point a her saying when she get off a 3 she was to to ask her if she had a problem the cashier name was Rochelle the other girl never told her anything her in the man she check out was lying on the cashier who was working on paystation she never curse. I don't like to see someone get in trouble on there job for no reason. All i seen is the cashier who was working paystation ask another girl to watch her station she was going call a manger. thats all came from her mouth.Rochelle customer service was offer i would never check out by her again. I love walmart

They are rude
Once I went into WM to get toe-nail clippers. The Asian lady sent me to another deptment. I don't think she understood English. I finally found someone who spoke English, she showed me where all the clippers were. As I was leaving the store, another customer was complaining to the lady at the door about her bad experiences for that day. Another time I went in to get a baby shower gift card. There was none in English. An AMERICAN girl that works there went into the back and found one for me. Another time I went in for a can of WD-40. There were three employees standing around laughing, talking about a party the night before. I ask them were the WD-40 was. One said, "You might try automotive", another said, "You might try house wares", I said, "Yes, and I might try K-Mart" I turned and walked out. I went to K-mart and the employee took me to where the WD-40 was. My horror stories could go on and on. I have found that the employees that WM hires, can't speak or understand English. They are rude, cude and ignorant. What has happened to OUR country? I don't believe Sam would be happy the way his kin is running store. I for one WILL NOT be visiting any WM again.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
I am furious at WALMART because of their POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I wanted to check to see if something that I ordered on line had made it to the store since that is where I was going to pick it up at. I was transfered from line to line and I had to hold for about a total of 45 minutes. I had to call back numerous times because I was hanged up on numerous times as well. It was just ridiculous. I just had a simple question that would have taken one minute to answer. Finally, after an hour I got a manager on the phone. She answered my question in less than a minute. All I have to say is that I wish walmart would take better care of their customers because if not they will go out of business in houston just like K-Mart did. I definitely will not order anything from there anymore.

not a complant
This is not a complaint i dont no another way to contact you. My name Tangeria Mckinney im 16years old and i was wondering can you help me. I have a mother that is very hard working with 6 kids she have a 2yr old, 10yr old, 12yr old, 13yr old15yr old and me and christmas is coming up and she really need help I will be very dissppointed to see my sisters and brothers unhappy on chrismas morning . Im writing you to ask can you help a little my 2yr old sister dont know much about chrismas but she did say she wanted a babydoll. You will be a big help if you help out and you will make my sisters and brothers happy and they will be very greatful for whatever you offer. Thank you!
