We live in a rural area in OK and like many others, Windstream has a monopoly in out small town, . It seems like because this is a poor socioeconomic area they feel that we are not important enough to deserve the same services that others recieve. We have lived in the country for almost 5 yrs now and have been working since we moved here to get DSL in our home. There is DSL within 2 1/2 miles of my house but because it will cost them too much money, they will not bring it out any furher.
