I responded to an email solicitation from Nova Corp. to upgrade to the most recent edition of Parallels 5.0 at a discounted price of $49. (Retail $80) After downloading the program, I received a message that my old Parallels 1.0 was not compatible with the latest version. My request for tech support was ignored, so I submitted a refund application. I spoke to a representative who told me I needed a full "boxed" version which she eagerly sold me for $50.
