After leasing a Dodge Ram truck for 5 years and making all required payments, I contacted US Leasing to return my truck. They had a vehicle inspection person come look at my truck and are now trying to collect $500 in excessive damage fees and a $390 fee for end of lease turn in. Beware! Never, ever book your car rental with “Dollar Car Rental”!! They scammed me into paying more for my rental by telling me the vehicle I reserved was not available (as we were driving out of the lot, we saw a few cars that we originally reserved on the lot!) and offered us another vehicle – claiming it was cheaper per day than what we reserved. We live in the United States. We had an accident with an Avis rental on March 31, 2009, in Scotland. We had to pay over $900 US which we were told would be reimbursed. We have been advised that the other party had admitted fault on May 29, 2009 and their insurance company has been invoiced. I went to get an oil change at sears in cherry creek denver . I dropped off my car at 10am and was told that it would be ready in a few hours . I did return around lunch time and told the representative that i was there to pick up my veichle. He got my paper work ready and i payed the bill. I took my car to broadway volkswagen oakland for the 10k mile service. My car was returned to me soaking wet on the driver side front and back carpets soaking down to the floorboard, door speaker wet, leather seat heating coil may be damaged.Car purchased may 28 2007 damaged by dealership that will not take responsibility for damages of very wet car inside . Because of the water damage in the car moisture builds up on the inside of the car windows which makes it very hard to see while driving in the early morning or at night. Although there are no lemon laws in Georgia I believe I have a clear complaint of consumer fraud. I bought a 1997 Chevy Blazer from AutoMax that almost got me killed. I have been making payments on time since March of 2009 for a car that I might have driven for a month. The car has been parked under my carport for months and is not drivable. I have had work done to the car by a mechanic that I thought would help me, but the car won't crank at all. Purchased a new battery for the car and the car seemed to have gotten worse. We brought our car in for an oil change. They told us we had to get the 30k inspection in order to keep our Tires for Life contract going; so I did for $300 later. I ask for them to check my A/C unit in the car because the A/C had gradually lost air. They quoted me $700 to fix the A/C because the compressor clutch coil was bad. I declined due to finances. My Son purchased a 2006 Mini Cooper from Global Imports Mini when it was brand new. Everything was fine until the warranty ran out.
