In July 2009, I was involved in an automobile wreck with a party who was insures with Traveler's Insurance. There was no doubt as to who was at fault. I purchased (4) of the Douglas GT 215x65x16 tires on 3/23/09. I drove the car home and found that the external noise from the tires is excessive. In reviewing the consumer report I found that is have been a chronic problem with the tire for a long period of time. Repair work was authorized in March of 2009 by Heritage Warranty Group. Faxed all requested paperwork by Warranty company and never received payment. Called several times and spoke with different customer reps and have been given the same answer...their company is about a year behind on claim payments. Farmers Inaurance has been rated as the worst company for handling claims in a fair, timely, and competent manner. Multiple complaints exist for bad faith, stalled payments, denials, stonewalling, etc etc etc. Neither Farmers Insurance nor their agents are ever to be trusted. I purchased a 50cc ATV for my son, I received a 110cc ATV which gets flats all the time (not even beeing riden) has trouble starting and the wheel bearings were bad within the first 30 days. My car was repaired under approved services by DSI, the administrator under the extended warranty for Heritage Administration Services. Heritage refused to pay the repair center with a credit card, the usual practice. I was required to pay for the repairs, $3235.97, on 06/11/2009 in cash. I called DSI on 06/30/2009 to check on status and they denied receiving the final bill which had been faxed. I requested the repair center refax the bill which the center did. We purchased this bike last year brand new. It has had this noise at lower speeds and a death wobble at higher speeds and our complaints to our dealer fall on deaf ears. The last service visit my husband was told that he needed a new rear tire, highly doubtful at less then 6000 miles.
