Beware Shell contest cards. The marketing staff want your private ID data. If you win a $10 free-fuel card, you can't trade the card for gas at the local Shell station. You must send your private driver's-license data to a separate nameless company. Shell says it's to verify winners are over 18. That could safely happen if winners showed their license at the local Shell station (where the free-drink cards are accepted). Shell says it’s confidential. We’ve heard that before. Steve Cohen President of Auto Claims Bureau in Atlanta does not honor his own refund policy. He sells a diminished value report, $95, for a car that has been in an accident. On 10-14-08 I purchased this Baja sc50 scooter. From the day i purchased it until now this is the WORST thing that I have ever bought. I knew i was in trouble when after I purchased it from Pep Boys that the only thing Pep Boys does is collect your money. They service nothing. Presently i am out of pocket $200.00 that I have paid an authorized Baja dealer. Less than 200 miles and it will not start, he had to pur a new battery in this. USED CTS- Purchased this car with the understanding that it had Driver 1 & 2. When this feature would not work I took the car in to get it fixed. When I came to get my car they told us that the feature was not on the car. And would I give them a changes to replace the car. We called for WEEKS and than MONTHS. Still not replacement. I canceled my insurance with this company on the 15th of Aug. On the first of Sept. They deducted an amount out of my checking account. I called my former agent and she faxed the papers to them again. After she faxed them for the third time, they finally canceled the policy and refunded half of my money. I received bank charges as swinton took a direct debit on the wrong date and for the wrong amount. Swinton told me that if i took the proof of the charges in, they would give me the charges back. They have not sent me the charges back therefor i am going to incur more charges as i am seriously overdrawn with the bank due to the direct debit and the bank charges all due to swinton's mistake. read full review »

I purchased a 3 year/50, 000 mile warranty in June 2007. At this moment I am within the time/milage frame of this contract, yet on July 20, 2009 the transmission failed in my 1992 Dodge Van, and i took it to Nationwide Transmissions in Flagstaff, Arizona (where it is now) to have it fixed. I did not think to inspect the car inside, and the first time I had to use it I discovered that there were some electrical problems with it: the stereo did not work, the passenger side electric window button (not having aircon it is an issue) did not work and the car recharger (cigarette lighter) did not work. I have serious complains about my Opel Corsa. I own an Opel corsa (Nov. 2001) Auto transmission. Recently I have faced a problem, and it doesn't start in the morning and flashes "F" . I took it to Opel dealer and they told me that ECU has been damaged and should be changed and cost me 1500 Euro . It is really funny, my car is not that old and I should spend almost one third of the car price to buy new ECU . My vehicle a 2005 Camry went in July 15th at 9:00am for standard maintenance at 30, 000 miles and NO damage, as the vehicle was checked by an insurance company the day before and inspected the morning of drop off to Certified Auto Service. Atv discounters sold mea atv last may 1 09. It has been almost 3 months and still no atv. I have called them and emailed them many times about the atv but you cannot get anybody to anwser the phone . Their service work is poor and their customer relationship skills are horrible. Here are some examples: Took my 2006 ML350 in (still under warranty), for a chirp in the engine. They had it all day, said they fixed it, before I pull out of the garage, chirp starts again. Took them 2 more tries to get it fixed. Next time, I went in for a service B and had a headlight out. The van was purchased on Feb 6, with the intent to take delivery on Feb 7 so the seller could install a new battery. "Replace battery" is specifically written on the invoice. Upon pick-up, I saw a different battery than had been in the van the previous day. The next morning it would not start or power anything in the vehicle. I called AAA member services. I found a 2004 Chevy Classic with 40, 382 miles on it advertised on Cars.com. On Friday, February 20th, I called the dealership to see if the car was still available and the price was $6550.00. Here's the truth. U.S. Fidelis has been working to make sure that their company is doing everything legal. They have definitely made changes for the better. This company is a joke. Try to pay our loan on line, won't even let us access the web site. They can call anytime of day, but they are only open from 8:00 to 5:00, try to call them after 4:00 and you can never get a hold of them to do a payment or answer any questions. I don't know what to do. I have been trying and trying for some time to make my car payment. The loan originated under Centrix Financial, later was sold to Flatiron out of Colorado. All contact information I have for them has resulted in a dead end. Everything I have found on the internet for a phone number either ALWAYS rings a busy signal or goes to the same number that says they have nothing to do with car payments.
