Well I got a phone call on May 9th to review auto rewards for 1.95. LIKE A DUMMY i SAID YES. well on the 16th the envelope arrived. I looked it over and was not sure I wanted it. I only agreed to look it over cause they said there would be a 100.card to spend anywhere I wanted to, well there was no card. So I called to cancel this 3 or 4 times wouldent go thru . Just hung up every time, after holding for about 5 to 8 minuets. So today the 22nd day of May I got through. But they had already charged me 12.50 . They said no refunds. BP GAS
Donnak911 May 22, 2009
All BP gas stations charge an extra 1.00 if you use a credit card. I wanted to buy a couple of items in the store in Garner NC and use the card one time. I was told by the clerk that I would have to swipe my card outside then come in and pay for the couple of items on a second charge, thus having my Visa charged an extra $1.00. They are charging per swipe. Talk about a rip off. I will be using BP gas from now on only as a last resort. What a horrible fraud. read full review »

I took my BMW to get a full inspection of condition after my used purchased. The mechanic took me to the shop area and showed me the 02 sensor wire was rubbing on the drive shaft. He told me he would put a piece of tape on it and Zip tie it out of the way of the drive shaft. This was suppose to be done for free. Instead he put tape on it and left it to continue to rub on the drive shaft . This caused the wire to rub through and cause the 02 sensor to stop working and needed to be replaced..I believe this was an oversight on the mechanics part... read full review »

Thrifty Car Dealer ( Sales ) not rental
Tamara May 21, 2009
Thrifty Cars ( Dealer in Clearwater ) sold my grandfather a lemon and refused to acknowledge the fact and ripped off a 73 year old man. My Grandfather saw a car on their website, called to speak to a manager, made an appointment, and proceeded to think he was getting a deal. He found out that Thrifty does not honor their word, warranty, or remember making any promises. I do not know how any of you can sleep at night. DO NOT BUY OR EVEN GO NEAR THRIFTY IN CLEARWATER, FLORIDA. THEY ARE DISHONEST PEOPLE WHO I HOPE BECOME A DEALERSHIP THAT... read full review »

Planet Ford 45
Rene R. May 21, 2009
5-11-09 I just bought a car at Planet Ford on I 45 in Houston, Tx. I could not imagine a worse place to buy a car. The sales man lied to us and tried to tack on charges he would not explain when we confronted him about them. The finance guy"Timmie Dowdley" Raised the cost of the car believing no one would notice then tried to tell us a $8400 car was going to be $385 a month for 60 mo. When i called him on this, it seemed that they had tacked on charge after charge without ever discussing it with us. and then they talk about giving me... read full review »

Meineke Car Care Centers
Blake May 21, 2009
My car was scheduled for new spark plugs and wires at 4:00PM Saturday 02-02-07. Everything in my car was working fine at that time. That bill was $204.16. Is that the usual for a tune up on a 4-cylinder car? By Sunday afternoon I had no heat in the car. When I called on Monday I was told that the mechanics were nowhere near the thermostat for the heater and the car was "old and things wear out." I then left my car to have the heater repaired. Repairs were expected to take two days as a part had to be ordered from Hyundai. Meineke had... read full review »

Bankston Motor Homes
Edward May 21, 2009
In the paragraphs below I am describing a very intense problem I have had with a RV dealership. They are very unethical, unprofessional and untruthful, as you will hear in my complaint below. Please, if there is anything that you can do to help us with this problem I would greatly appreciate it? I’m at the end of my rope and no results in sight. In October of 2005 my husband and I went to Bankston Motor Homes in Huntsville, Alabama looking for a motor home or camper. We were planning to retire and do some traveling. Z Auto Sound
Richard May 21, 2009
So I was recently at Z auto Sound because I had just purchased a new pioneer head unit from a local electronics store, and for some reason it wasn't working with my XM receiver. So I decided I better go see the professionals at a car audio place. I found myself at Z auto Sound. One of the guys checked out my problem and said that it's very simple. "just reverse the cable" give me $30 and I'll get it working for you. Great! SO I'm waiting around for like 30 minutes, and the guy comes up to me and say... read full review »

Tricia May 21, 2009
Thrifty car dealership in Clearwater, Florida sells cars using tactics of dishonesty to its customers. The manager Dan and his partner Bo are liars and once the deal is made, they will not help you at all. The warranty on my vehicle was to cover 30 days or 3000 miles. The transmission started acting up 2 weeks after purchase and they told me to bring the car in. They said that the mechanic was booked up but could see us in two weeks. I informed them that we have only one vehicle and could we get a car as it was being fixed. They told me to... read full review »

I got a tow from cities towing and the total charge was $96.00. A few days later I checked my online statement and they charged my credit card three times for $96.00. When I called to let them know they made a mistake the girl basically told me there was nothing she is going to do about it and to take it up with my credit card company. She was very rude and would not refund me back for the two extra times they charged me. I looked them up on the BBB and it seams Im not the only one they have done this to. I have had a 2006 Azera for a little over 3 years. If you check the service records you will find many, many repairs since the purchase. Some took 5-7 days in which they had to completely remove the dash and in one case take out the passenger seat. The air conditioner has been a problem every summer and required some sort of repair. WARRANTIES 4 WHEELS

Company sells auto warranties for profit. Underwriting company (capital assurance) went belly up. Warranties 4 Wheels (wayne) will not step up and even provide realistic guidance of what to do, nor will he refund any portion of his over $1000 in profit from my sale. I spoke with him 1.5 years ago about a claim, in which he fed a line about capital coming out of receivership, he gave me this same line today, when it is public info that capital is completely out of money. Stand behind your products Wayne! When someone spends $2500 they expect something back, . you shouldn't be able to reap the profit while everyone is left holding the bag. read full review »

Long Long Long story short: I needed an engine in my Jeep. We found AEI via the internet. They towed the jeep from my driveway with an estimate to rebuild of $1, 876.00, taking my personal check of $800.00 as a deposit. The time frame for completion was 10-14 business days. We were given the runaround for weeks and finally got the ok to pick up the vehicle 6 weeks later. Of course the final bill was way over estimate ($2849.23)They refused to take a personal check for final payment. The vehicle ran horribly, and the faceplate to my radio wa... read full review »

When I increased the throttle to 1500 RPMs, it started making a funny sound and it had no power. I called them and spoke with Joe, I let him hear the engine and he asked if I could call back and let one of his other guys hear it. We recently returned a leased vehichle and was surprised to learn we were going to be charged over 1, 000.00 dollars for a thumb impression on the bumper which was not readily visible. This was in addition to over 400.00 for cleaning. We were not given any credit for the car being 300 miles under allotment and with gas in the tank. We believe this is outrageous to have us pay to replace the full bumper for some thumb impression. I am pretty sure that they just pushed on the underside. Also, they had a return auto check off document that contained many items, so beware and get photos or go elsewhere. read full review »

This firm is a complete scam. I had a Subaru which only had its side doors and one front wheel damaged in a very slow collision accident. I had to use an authorized dealer to repair to keep the warranty, so they got the job. Instead of repairing it, they kept making up new excuses that there is something further wrong with the car. Whenever I call them, they would say the car is ready, only to have me show up and then tell me further repair is needed. In the end, they ran up such a huge bill that the car has to be totaled.
