This company is totally unprofessional. They lure you in with false advertising stating they have state of the art artificial hands, arms and mannequins to practice on before you attempt to draw blood on actual people. We never saw any such equipment and only were allowed to practice on each other and only for a total of 12 times. There passing rate for students is less than 50%. That is 1 out of every 2 students fail. The instructor is uneducated, obnoxious, threatening and completely useless in offering any assistance or even encouragement. The enrollment counselor said the material taught was advanced and highly technical; it wasn't. I was told the instructors were experienced in the fields that they taught; they weren't. I am a student at this school and i regret my decision of returning to this school. I have had over 5 teachers and 3 campus directors in less than 6th months. There is no curriculum and we don't have enough resource at the school. We almost never have the products we need to get the skills necessary to graduate. When I entered kaplan I beleived with all my heart it was the best thing I ever did for myself. I am disabled and Kaplan was aware of that fact from the start I never kept it a secret. This online school is a rip-off. They charge you $20 additional no matter how you pay, by bank or credit card. The withdrawl system cannot even be used with a savings account and my bank's cheif officer told me this himself. They will try to charge you the full price which is $60 more.
