I purchased a F335 deskjet printer from HP for around 50 dollars. I print so little. I have printed about 40 pages of material and the ink cartridges faded out. I called HP support and talked to them for a bit. I found out that HP only sends printers out with "host" cartridges. Host cartridges are meant to test functionality. After that you are suppose to buy "trade" cartridges. These trade cartridges cost in this case 30 dollars at discount. My Vivitar camera has been under repair since 12/14/07 for a cracked LED. Not under warranty, my 2 week old camera was never misused, or dropped. I paid an additional $12 for shipping and $75. for repairs. Was to be shipped on or by 2/5/08. Today 2/10/08 the camera still sits in the repair shop. No status available. I was told to call back in a few days... by then I could drive to Sac.!

In a Nutshell : I have a DV6116EU Laptop and went online about a week ago. The HP Service update asked to update the Bios Setting. I did this and 24 Hours later the motherboard started to burn up. It shorted my battery and now it wont even bookup.
I called HP Technical Support that was a call center in South Africa. I have been given a call reference and log time for the machine to be collected.

Seeing as how we all have the same problems with the same Mitsubishi TVs and poor service I wanted to see if anyone is or knows and attorney that might have some answers as to what kind of recourse we might have. I have a problem with Microsoft and their claim filing process. I recently filed a rebate and sent it through the mail. The claim process is not the same had I filed on line. When you submit a claim through the mail you are required to supply additional product information. When you file online all they want is the barcode and store info. The only reason that I purchased the microsoft product was because of the rebate. 'White Van Scam' today my husband was waved down by a pair of white men that wanted to show him some speakers they wanted to sell. They were in a black 4runner with Florida License plates. My two month old barely used DVD drive stopped reading dvd's. When submitting a form to return the item, was given a confirmation number and told where to send it at my expense. Over a month later, the dvd drive was sent back by Hinet systems unopened. No reason for the return was given. I purchased a American telecom phone from Office Depot on Aug.27, 2007 @39.99$+tax6%. It was free after mail in rebate, $20 from Office Depot and $20from American Telecom. I submitted as per instruction, I received $20 from Office Depot but for $20 rebate from American Telecom is not come yet. On Oct. 04 2007 I received a letter that UPS code must be resubmitted before Oct 18 2007. I call them and inform them that I already submitted that although I submitted copy on 10-18-2007 with post mark but till date I never get that amount.

January 31, 2008. HP Media Center Pavillions are a rotten buy. Their customer service and technical service only want money. I had the RAM supposedly replaced by HP twice. I've been having the sames issues with HP's Pavillion "media Center" PC, since Dec 06. On dec 02 2007 I made a purchase of 100 bulbs using paypal buyer credit, the seller sent the merchandise and I never received it. I have been calling several times Paypal customer services and there's only one answer "I have to wait" for the result of the investigation, etc... As far as I know every transaction using Paypal buyer credit is protected and in my case I'm still waiting.
The worst of my case is that merchandise goes to a customer I represent, now I'm dealing with this situation that is out of my hand, unless I get furious and hire an attorney and that will cost much money to the bank. read full review »

I bought Roxio 9 Suite. The product would not install. Since I do hardware / software support for a living I checked all possible issues that might cause the problem outside of the CDs just being damaged. Nothing worked so I put in a ticket with Roxio support. They sent me back a procedure which sometimes works to install old (Pre 98) products but I tried the instruction twice anyway.
