I purchased this television for $3,000.00 in 2003. In december 2006 a bulb blew in the tv so they replaced it. What they neglected to tell me was it was in a class action suit for this bulb issue. I purchased the DVD player because of the rebate offer. Most companies allow 60 to 90 days to submit a rebate, not 15days! To allow such a short amount of time to comply during the holidays is deceptive advertising and unfair. I would not have purchased the DVD player had I known about this deadline. The laptop is not even a year old, the cd drive does not work and has not worked since its purchase. The computer now is going dim and my daughter uses this computer at college. We bought a 56 inch Vivetek TV from Shop NBC. We paid $2500.00 for it. After 6 months, the lamp went out. We replaced it at a very high cost. After 1 year, the TV died, and we have not been able to get parts, and cannot get hold of anyone to speak to about this travesty. Asurion sent me a replacement phone that had 5 separate defects, it is my firm opinion that asurion is shoveling garbage out of their warehouse, it is my opinion that asurion knows that a certain % of the replacement phones that it ships are defective. During the recent ice storm in the midwest, with millions out of power for up to two weeks, my new FR-300 emergency radio (with the American Red Cross logo on it) failed to work after one day.
