The Mobile store is currently running a promotion claiming to give Rs. 5000/- cash back on purchase of any mobile phone from the store... i must this scheme is absolutely rubbish and it is only a gimmick to attract consumers. My boss went to the Circuit City in Lancaster, PA and was treated very poorly. She was in the store for 20 minutes and no one helped her. When she asked for service, the associates directed her to other associates. When she finally got frustrated she went to customer service and was directed to a manager. The manager on duty said to her that she would just have to wait because of it being unusually busy. I don't think that was a proper response. As a manager they should have helped my boss. My Lenovo with Vista installed has had problems from day one. Rather then help me resolve them, I am told that "Lenovo is not responsible for Microsoft software" and that I must pay $125.00 to call and get help for each fix. I have recharged on 27th July for Rs.210 for one month's validity and I am supposed to recharge again by 28th of August 2007. But the services have been barred from today. Vijay Sales had advertised in news papers for HCL Computer. The ad promised 1) Assured Gift 2) Free Trip, 3) Softwares such as Bundled preloaded software + Antivirus + Microsoft works. I have been working with 5-7 different Symantec "customer service" people to help get NAV uninstalled and reinstalled. In the past I could do this myself - but not anymore. My family have had the phones for about 3 months - already my sisters had to be return because she could not receive any phone calls - and had to pay shipping charge for it to be returned and for them to replace it. Now my phone keeps cutting off - power. On Saturday, August 18, 2007, I was trying to log on to limewire(US) and got limewireUK. I was charged $88.78 to my credit card. I received my password to limewire, but am unable to use it. I'm trying to get my money refunded back to my account. The e-mail address I was given gets me nowhere and there is no phone number. I live in the United States. When I purchased my camera in Dec 2006 I was told that if I took the extended warranty they would service it locally if anything happened within the year. When I went in to have service on same I was told it was over the year. You do not have to be a rocket scientist to know that it was within the year.
