Thru nelson rating group was offered a trial with them and then would be charged after the 14 days. the 14 days were not free I was not told this and was charged 1.95 that was not authorized. Answered Ditech TV ad. Wanted consolidate our debt in a mortgage. Instead of our credit card debt in the mortgage, put it all on a Ditech MCcard. The interest rate started at 7.9%. Purchased what was advertised as a full series, season 1 - 7 DVD Box set of "Boy Meets WOrld" for my child's birthday. DVD's are very obviously pirated copies - not even very good ones at that. "Box" is just a plain plastic DVD case with PC generated label, not even an attemp at labelling the discs - someone just wrote Disc 1, Disc 2, etc... on them with a Sharpie. I will try to return them for a full refund but I don't have much hope of ever seeing my money again. Guess I have to chalk it up to a lesson learned. There was a young man who came to my house to sale subscriptions to different magazines of your choice, I really did'nt need any but he was trying to raise money for a school fuction or something to that effect. This company attached its antivirus / spyware program as an addware to a download. I did not authorize it as an add on but it download anyway. Once downloaded it locks up the computer and blocks all access to other programs until you imput a credit card number and authorize payment. they also charged additional fees that were not authorized. there was a 30 day money back guarantee if you canceled within the first 30 days. I would like to complain against the Sea World Parks and Organization, in light of recent events with the death of the whale trainer. It is extremely tragic that a member of the staff was violently killed in this situation, however, I must point out that this would have never happened if these animals that are held against their will, were in their natural habitat. This antivirus product does not exist. They put a trojan virus on your computer and make you buy their product for $50 unless you reboot and do a system restore. They then send download links that don't exist and freeze up the machine, so you have to do a reboot and system restore. They don't even remove the trojan, which is what I expected at the least-a sort of hostage/release blackmail scam. i have had unauthorized charges automatically taken from my checking account. The dates of these transactions are 12/28/09, 1/27/09, and 2/24/09. The amount of each transaction was $9.95 each time. On two of these occasions, my checking account was overdrawn and i was charged a $39.00 insufficient funds fee. At this time, I will expect my account to be credited in the amount of $107.85.
