I recently purchased a Sanyo LCD TV and in chatting to the sales person I mentioned that I wanted to get into share trading and she said that this TV could get Finance news etc as it had Teletext. Upon trying for months to get it to work I rang Sanyo hotline and was told that Channel 7 is the onl;y channel in Australia that owns and operates Austext Teletext and that it had stopped boradcasting on 30 September 2009. Be very careful when dealing with this company. They purchased close to $10k worth of equipment from us based on net30 days terms, and now two years later they still haven't paid our invoices. I am suprised at Channel 7/channel 72 for airing the tv show family guy 3 nights per week at 8.30pm! This kind of TV show should be on TV very late at night, if at all!
