I received a letter from a collection agency for a request for payment from their client Women's Health Magazine. I did have a year subscription that I paid for up front. I am not sure why they sent me to a collection agency I have never received any other notices that I was in default of payment. I just canceled my subscription and plan on contesting their action in the next business day. I take my credit seriously and I am appalled that my credit might be damaged by a $15 transaction. Mystery shopper program claims to pay $10 per "shop" and covers food expenses for surveys completed at Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and KFC. I completed 8 of these in May/June 2009 and have not received any money in return! It has been difficult just to get a reply back to an e-mail. The only time I heard from the company is in October 2009 when I signed up for more shops and did not complete the survey (in an effort to get someone to talk to me). I attended all the classes and my dog was able to learn many new behaviors. My dog Nick is a good looking Lab with a desire to please. The Head trainer called Nick and I for a audition for a TV commercial and Nick got the job. The problem is that I did not get the job as trainer. I have been waiting over 3 years to go up in a hot air ballon with this company. My flight has been canceled many time. I canceled once when I was led to believe my money would be refunded and once when I hurt my back. The manager has many answers why they do not fly. Rip off. Have automatic billing thru XM. Since they merged, they now are charging a $3.60 music royalty fee. Bill for the month just popped up. I have had it with Barnes and Nobles. I decided after better judgement to give the on-line a go as I needed the Berlitz Spanish cds in short order. You showed when ordered a 2-3 business day turn and did not indicate it would take 8 days to ship this product. Taco Bell systematically is ripping off the public. They advertise their 1/2lb burrito's with a disclaimer that the weight is on avg. I have yet to buy a 1/2 burrito that evens weighs 8oz... The company advertises there programs on the radio with the ability to return the product within 30 and no charges are to be made. When I called in the salesperson also states that I can return the product within 30 days without penalty.
