A woman came to my house selling magazine subscriptions or renewals and claiming it would help her get her life back on track. She said it would help her go back to school. I subscribed to a 2 year Vanity Fair subscription and paid her $63, $48 of which was supposed to cover the magazine. I have not received the magazine. On 8/22/08, I purchased a 2 yrs subscription to Readers Digest and havent received anything to this date. I paid by check($60.00). I purchased them from a young man going from door to door with a friend selling those magazines as well. I bought them in good faith to help realize their goal. I was billed by Norton's Uttilities without requesting or authorising payment. It was billed as an annual renwal for virus protection/computer protection. As a one time customer of FAE, i will NEVER use them again. They said they owned tickets and they never sent them out to me. I called and called for weeks up until the day of the event and about an hour before the show they told me they didn't have the tickets. This company will infect your computer with a virus and then send pop ups possing a well know virus protection suppliers like AVG and Norton. If you do manage to get onto a real web site for a virus protection supplier when you go to the check out MBcontacts jumps inbetween and your money goes to them. we actually were having a pretty good time till the bill arrived. Our 1/2litre of sangrea cost $18, which was fine We ordered an additional glass each. When the bill came it was $20 for the two glasses. hmm, $18 for a half l and $20 for two glasses. When we brought it to the bartenders attention he started to scramble, adjusted the bill to $16 and started to make excuses. It really appeared to us that he overcharged us on purpose. This company has a slick looking website with a lot of older TV shows offered on DVD. They promise high quality, low prices, fast delivery, and good customer service, BUT they deliver NONE of the above! I should have known that when something LOOKS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE... IT IS! For anyone who wants to sign their children in a school and hope to work in the entertainment industry, you can find lots of schools who can offer your child classes without charging you a hefty fee. For the fees that ICA offers you, the classes are not worth it. They mainly have acting classes. Occasionally, they offer singing/vocals and dancing (exercise? modeling?) classes.
