I had a "student" come to the door with a line about earning a trip through magazine sales. I bought a magazine. When it didn't come I called the company and they told me it took 150 days (are you kidding) to get the subscription. It's been 6 months now and nary a magazine. I cannot get ahold of the company... just an answering machine. They've taken my money and run. I cannot use their software which they claim is the same as Microsoft office Word. I can not open up Word documents with it or create Word documents with their software like they claim it can do. They lied in their advertisement about what they say it can do. our bank flagged us that this was a risky transaction minutes after my wife placed the order. i tried to contact them immediately to cancel the order but there is no customer service contact number and their help ticket wouldn't work. the help ticket kept saying that the form was incomplete. so, i have no way of getting in touch with them. after the fact, i started to research the company and found many examples of unsatisfied customers and downloads that didn't work. i'm hoping for the best but the situation seems shady from the start! we'll see if I ever receive any downloads. read full review »

The card said to call and cancel by Nov 27, but when I called, it was automated and said I'd have to call again by Nov 27. This company hosts a variety of fraudulent websites. This particular software site: PDFsuite.com sells a nonfunctional PDF editing software. After purchase, the refund process precludes resolution within the trial period and refund is not granted. My experience is not unique per www.ripoffreport.com. suspect a margin violation by e-trade, it panicked Fri 10/10/08 when the market fell like crazy. Sent out a message on the account (not thru email) a margin call that day with a due date that day, and within less than 2 hours sold account holdings on its own and then sent out, this time thru email the next day, saying you have 'trade confirmations" Inadequate time (due date) given after margin notice (in account), and sold out same day as notice given without any authorization from account holder. It shipped from China in a cheap plastic case with green cover art that was obviously homemade. The first thing that most people should consider when dealing with a casting agency is if the agency is a member of the screen actors guild/SAG. I was solicited at my home by a girl named Charlene Lewis about purchasing magainzes from her. She gave me a long pitch about how this was helping her earn points toward a trip. I ordered 26 issues of Vogue for $36.00 and made the check payable to EIS. I was told it would 4-8 weeks before the magazines would begin to be delivered. This company practices extremely deceptive sales techniques. The place a cookie or some type of spyware on my computer and made it look as if their product would be able to remove it. It created a continous loop on my desktop that did not allow me to remove it or get out of the application without forcing you to purchase the software, thinking this would solve the problem.
