I have the Viet nam CD documentary and I found it not to be very factual. It must have been made by someone from Kent University od some radical hater. Global Readers or whatever they are calling themselves today. Almost three years ago I started handling all the bills for my fiance. Global readers was one of his bills. Since he worked nights and they would call early in the morning when he was half asleep, he had no idea what it was. I contacted them to find out who they were and what their service was. In light of the Ross and Brand situation and the foul language used and the unacceptable behaviour, I would like to make an additional general complaint. I had a $20 charge on my credit card from WPI PArenting MAG, yet I never subscribed to this magazine. When I called the mag to complain, they said it was the fault of the Destination maternity. They sign you up to received 2 free months and then after that I would get charged. She said the cashier should have explained that which they didn't. read full review »

I had a similar experience with the Verizon of being way overcharged. I subscribed to the offer Verizon Triple Freedom for 59.99 - $10 for first six months = 49.99 (also it said First Month of TV and Internet FREE). They lure you there by offering extra or commercial work but do not actually have real connections and make their money by convincing you to take photos with them to submit for work. Their real company name is Photos R Us. The man in charge "Brad" who doesn't even have his full name on his card is a conman and makes it seem like you are passing up an immediate opportunity if you think or wait too long. I renewed the norton internet security subscription on Sept 1, 2008. It was supposed to expire on Sept 2, 2009 but already it's telling my that it's expired. In June, 2007, while home on R & R Leave from the Gulf War, my wife and I purchased a TV, with an In-component DVD Player. Model Number 32MD251D/37. Within a month of purchase, the DVD player began to freeze up after playing a DVD for about ten minutes. I have ordered several times from dvds2go and I must say the shipment was always early and I have nothing but "GOOD" to say about their PR department. I had to send one of my dvd's back. Although it was outdated for there return policy they took it and sent me another- no charge. I ordered 2 remanufactured 500 cadillac engines $4935.00 in April of 2008. They sent older models than I ordered, they where not fully assembled, missing parts and some of the parts they did use where unserviceable or partially cleaned. I tried to call them, no response yet. The company who actually did the remanufacture? was Blaines Motor Supply Co. in Dallas Tx. I called them 214-426-4400 and received a bunch of BS about the problems I'm experiencing. I've been a licensed mechanic for 25 yrs. and order 4 of these engines per year. I called to have my subscription ended on the date that was the end of my billed period. They chose to put a new date on it, so that I was billed automatically to my credit card. They billed me for the full 2 months (even though the date they picked for stopping it would have involved three papers only).
