I am filing this complaint as a former restaurant manager. I formerly worked for Chick Fil A in Aurora Colorado. On 5 April 2008 I went through the drive thru at the Chick Fil A in Easley, South Carolina. When I pulled up to the speaker a very rude African AMERICAN worker shouted may I take your order. I politely placed the order and pulled around to the window. The girl snatched the money from my hand and appeared to have problems making change. Bought the Time Life Flower Power 10 CD set. Everytime I called to see why hadn't received it yet, was told more time needed than originally stated. Person previously shouldn't have told me so soon. Kept blaming last person I talked to. Finally cancelled order, got money back, and two days later guess what I got in the mail. Yep, here they were. I go to Dunkin Donuts for coffee pretty regularly. I ordered and went through the drive-thru. I went to pay with my card, and the cashier tells me that there's no money on it. My girlfriend and I decided to go to Dave & Buster's on 3/20/08 (Sat) to have some fun playing arcades, etc... We ordered some food around 8:30pm (buffalo chicken sandwich, dave & buster's trio platter, grilled chicken sandwich). About 1hr after we ate the food, both of our stomaches started to ache. Around 12am that night, both of us started throwing up, showed symptoms of extreme diarrhea, headaches, etc... We believe it is food poisoning from either the chicken or another frozen item. On March 9th 2008 I had stopped by the Van Buren Long John Silvers and received raw chicken. I had Bought 6 Pieces of chicken and 6 shrimp. We frequent McDonald`s every Sunday morning. When a lady with brown curly hair, I think her name is Christine is working, when she talks to other employees, she uses profanity. It`s not quietly either, the whole store can hear it. When she waits on customers at the register, she has to have the customer repeat everything they order, and then she either programs it into the register wrong and/or argues with you that it is not what you ordered. I am a college student and have loved my small tv. It fit perfectly on my desk and still allowed a lot of room for all of my stuff. I have loved it until very recently. It always was a little fuzzy and 1 or 2 higher channels came out black and white, but I didn't really watch those so I paid no attention. I also attributed it to my dvd/vcr player attached. Be Aware! of the Express Pass Scam! In an attempt to beat the long lines at both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure we purhased the Express Pass from a park employee at a Kiosk. Called to complain that High definition cable box was not functioning was told they would call back in a Half hour. I received a recored call in a half Hour which did not respond to my answering of the phone and the recording indicated that I could not be reached and Verizon would call back in 10 minutes ( which of course is absurd If they couldn't reach me how would I know they would call back in 10 minutes.) They called back in ten minutes and again indicated they could not reach me and suggested I call them again. They must be getting paid by the number of phone calls they make or have customers make. I purchased a gift certificate for 150CAD on 23rd March 2007. The certificate had an expiry date of March 23, 2008 on it. There were no shows that I liked were staged before the expiry date. I contacted them to extend it on 24th and my request was denied. I was literally thorwn out of their office. In Ontario, by law, if a business has received money for a gift certificate, they can not hide behind an expiry date and refuse to homour the certificate.
