I am appalled when it comes to the recent ad commercial I am seeing on television for White Castles. It is very distasteful! It is the commercial that shows an elderly gentlemen in a hospital room with this wife standing beside him. I placed an order for Microsoft 2008 for Mac on March 21, 2008 with next day air. I paid 123.00 for the product and 34.87 for next day service.I received a confirmation number. On March 23rd I received an email stating a 24-48 hour verification for approval. I have a new puppy and she chewed up our remote for our 17" LCD TV/DVD. It is model # PVS31170s1. Is there any way I can get another remote? Those universal ones just don't function like the original ones. I have only had the TV for 2 months and really want the original remote. Be Aware! of the Express Pass Scam! In an attempt to beat the long lines at both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure we purhased the Express Pass from a park employee at a Kiosk. At the totally inflated price of 51.00 dollars each we got ripped off!!! The sales person neglected to inform us that we could only use the pass once on each ride. At that price one should be able to enter each ride as many times as you wish duringh the day. I have NO IDEA how these people got my name etc., but when they contacted me to say that their rate was going up, I insisted they remove my name and cancel any subscription that they said I had. A couple of months later, I received a renewal card for Great Fun. I don't want this product/service and have told them so. Unfortunately, they continue to "automatically" charge my credit card. Hi, I have recently placed an order with TV DVD World, and have had a number of emails from them with regard to the DVD not being in stock, and that I can cancel my order. However when I have tried to cancel my order I cannot do so. I have tried calling the number on numerous occaisions but cannot get through to anyone. On March 24th I rented a jumper from Jump for fun. The driver was non english speaking and installed the jumper wrong. Because of this there was $400 damage to our deck. Called to complain that High definition cable box was not functioning was told they would call back in a Half hour. I received a recored call in a half Hour which did not respond to my answering of the phone and the recording indicated that I could not be reached and Verizon would call back in 10 minutes ( which of course is absurd If they couldn't reach me how would I know they would call back in 10 minutes.) They called back in ten minutes and again indicated they could not reach me and suggested I call them again. They must be getting paid by the number of phone calls they make or have customers make. I purchased a gift certificate for 150CAD on 23rd March 2007. The certificate had an expiry date of March 23, 2008 on it. There were no shows that I liked were staged before the expiry date. I contacted them to extend it on 24th and my request was denied. I was literally thorwn out of their office. In Ontario, by law, if a business has received money for a gift certificate, they can not hide behind an expiry date and refuse to homour the certificate. Avast.Click-To-Download.Com - Stupidly subscribed to yearly membership of £17.88, received email receipt for £63.52. I tried to contact the numbers on the webpage and have sent various emails with no response. I have not had access to any software, or received a welcome email as promised. I have contacted my bank and the dispute department are trying to cancel the subscription. The funds have been taken from my bank account but is unlikely to be retrieved. I purchased the "Complete Babylon5 Series" on DVD. At first it was backordered and that my credit card would not be charged. I checked with Chase and the charge had gone through as soon as I ordered. I wrote a report last night about getting ripped off by Merchandise Direct. I ordered 2 Buxton Bags and 2 hand-held voice reminders.
