Tried to return BabiesRUs branded diapers to store an hour away from my home. Boxes had never been opened. I could not find my receipt and only wanted to exchange them for a bigger size. I went into the local VCA because my dog was not eating and vomiting bile during a time when my regular vet was out of town for the week. The VCA vet tried to sell me several items which were estimated to cost $600-$800+ and this would simply get the dog feeling "comfy" and allow for a single blood test which carried no guarantee of any diagnosis. Newly adopted dog was taken to Butler Creen Animal Hospital for an exam and to complete the Humane Society paperwork. Dog was given a rabies shot that was not required. I bought this dog from Petland just over a year ago and when I brought the dog home it came home it ended up having kennel cough and then things just got worse from there and I had to take the dog to the animal hospital on an emergency because the dog almost died. It has come to my attention that this rescue is no longer legitimate, if in fact it ever was. The woman who runs it, Nicole Morris, takes donations of money, items, and foster care for horses.
