Nice people and they seemingly do good work, but their prices are too high. I almost feel ripped off, but I did agreed to the treatment plan hoping that the insurance would pay for half of it. After receiving an EOB that only covered 14% of the bill, I called my insurance carrier. They said that this office's rates are 29% higher for the average rates in the area. The treatment plan said that insurance will cover 52% of the bill. Be wary that they obviously do not check with your insurance carrier first and only assume what you will be covered for. This office is unprofessionally run to the point that it borders on violating patient rights. All medical patients have the legal right to obtain their medical records in a timely manner. I had a test and was fitted for spectacles in Oct 2008 for use with both reading and computer. on receiving the glasse I immediately said they were far too strong but agreed to use for a week. I returned and was given a second test and left the glasses with the optician. I was retested and was told that I had a hemmorhage in the right eye and would require a test at a hospital. I went to see harley group re treatment for sun damage to my face. Nobody at all told me the treatment may not work. The nurse who did the treatments said it could be because of my age (69years) and the fact that I have fine skin- both of which facts they knew when they signed me up. They stopped the treatments after No 3 out of 5 . The condition is now slightly worse but definitely no better. They have refunded me £400 out of £1450 for the course - this does not even cover the two treatments I did not have.
