I purchased and paid for a thermaltake power supply on Aug 24th, a week later no response on the shipping method and tracking info, I have emailed them more than 5 times with no response to any of them. They don't have a phone number posted on their website so I don't know how to get in touch with them. I have all my components to build my pc, except the darn power supply. I would never order from this site again. Absolutely unexcusebale customer service!!! Don't waste your time with them. read full review »

My power supply took about a week to get to me, maybe because of the shipping method they use. By today's standards, that is just a few days too long for me. Products that I have ordered from other companies online got to me within a couple of days. Reading past reviews, their credit card page was secure when I put my order in. Other than that, good communication, product was packed nicely, runs great. Would do business with them again. They would receive a very satisfied from me if only the shipping were a litte quicker. read full review »

Ordered a Surefire C2 and a Glo-Toob and have made about 5 or 6 other purchases from them in the past. I haven't had one bad experience with them and they always ship the items very quickly and they arrive in great condition. Never had a problem with any of the products I've ordered so I can't comment on any experiences returning something. I will definitely continue buying from BatteryJunction in the future! I was actually surprised to see a relatively low rating for them as I haven't heard of any problems from anyone else (I frequent a forum where many people seem to purchase from BatteryJunction). read full review »

Very very bad customer service - 2 months late with a backorder of AA Alkalines...when they finally arrived they were thrown into two plastic bags with no packaging and THEY WERE LEAKING! Called customer service - they said no returns because the origional order was placed more than 45 days prior! Will not respond to emails. Power supply for external USB hard drive stopped working right after the warranty period expired. I ordered a new one for $15 dollars. After a week of waiting I called and found out the power supply I ordered had never been processed. Another week passed and the new power supply arrived D.O.A. I called for an RMA to replace it a week ago. I was promised a return phone call within 2 hours. Once you place an order with this site, they claim there's nothing they can do about it. I accidently placed an order before I was ready and immediately called to cancel it, but the person on the other end insisted that there was nothing she could do and it's too late to stop it. Even if you preorder something that doesn't come out for another month, it's too late to stop it. Amazon isn't like this. Buy.com isn't like this. Why is Barnes and Noble like this? Barclays sells "grey market" items, which means the manufacturer warranty is voided straight out of the box. They're NOT authorized resellers. The "discount" you receive is absolutely NOT worth it -- purchase from a reputable seller and save yourself loads of grief. Once they have you on the phone, they'll try to upsell EVERYTHING. I was using this company for hosting a website (started out as advances.com). I had lousy service from them and the website was down for most of 2008. My renewal period was October 1st. In July, I contacted them to find out how to cancel service with them and move it to another company. Watch out for this scam of a company. They leave "In Stock" on the website so you order it and then when you call to check because it hasn't arrive three weeks later they say two weeks. Then you call back again and they say two weeks. They tell you 25 were mis-tagged or mis counted and they apologize. Then they say depending on the import delays it may be longer. Excellent online retailer. Prices are competitive, but they shine when it comes to customer service. They give ample communication regarding your shipment, and excepted a return with free return shipping. I feel VERY comfortable ordering from them. Also, they have a great online chat. I just completed my order, but selected the wrong shipping method. I started up the chat session, and in less than 5 minutes the shipping method was changed and refund for the difference was issued. Well folks. Watch out! I bought a PCChips motherboard from them back in Dec98 and it arrives DOA. I ask for an exchange and they told me that the product has been discontinued. At first the told me to call PCChips manufacturer to see if I can get it repair! I say that's no way to do that. So, the finally told me the ship it to TechData to repair the motherboard. I ordered an m0 stepping P4 2.4c processor from them and had some trouble with their cart and it didn't send my credit card data into them. After 3 days of no response, I went to their website and fired off a query on my order to them. I placed my order two weeks ago and Axent Micro promptly processed my payment. My order, however, has not shipped, and the order status has remained at 'Qued to ship' for several days. No one from the company answers the phone (EVER) or responds to voicemails, or emails directed to the address they provide on their website. I believe the actual order and shipping went just fine and the part shipped on time and worked, etc. That is not my complaint. They are refusing to refund my money and threatening to turn me over to a collection agency if I do cancel the charge on my credit card. Ordered tape deck from this fraudulent company and paid for with check made out and mailed to Chris Bradley. Merchandise never received, no responses to multiple emails or phone calls (voice mail only, never get to talk to anyone). Called bank to stop payment on check, already cleared. Reported to BBB, FBI and FTC fraud departments, but report only. I see they now have a new website and can only assume they are ripping off a new group of customers. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MERCHANT!!! I still have not heard from this company since placing my order 11/22/08. I placed an order for different items from another online merchant the same day and received the items by 11/25/08. I emailed AVD on 11/25/08 to check the status of my order - no response. I called them on 11/25/08 and got voicemail and I left them a detailed message asking for status - no response. On 11/26/08 I emailed and called and left another message cancelling the order - no response. These items were birthday presents for my daughter and caused me to not have the items in time. This company must have the worst customer service on this planet. It takes almost an hour every time you call them and if you say anything they don't like, they will hang up on you. They have a blacklist of customers they don't want to talk to so when you call them, after you sit on the phone for almost an hour, when your time comes up, it automatically hangs up on you. To be honest, I'm kind of losing faith in Sun Microsystems. Google, the biggest name online, has a browser out for three or four months and Java doesn't support it. To get technical or specific or whatever, I'm talking about the Se6 U10 plug-in.
