This was the first time that I have dealt with atbatt and I feel it will be the very last time if they continue to package "HAZMAT" material as they did for me. I purchased two small 12volt Lead Acid batteries and I am VERY dissatisfied at their packaging method. The batteries arrived in an oversized box allowing both batteries to shift end-to-end and from side-to-side. All the terminals of both batteries were bent and damaged. I placed an order over their website on march 19. I got an error in the checkout process, and was not sure if the order went through. After waiting a week with no confirmation, I sent an email requesting one. No reply. After waiting 2 over two weeks, it seemed like I was not getting it. This company sent me a memory card that was not the correct kind to work in my phone (came in same box same order). When I reported it to them they said send the card back (at my expense)and that they would send the correct card. This is what I did and when they got it they said this is not the card they sent to me and accused me of buying it elsewhere and refused to send the proper card. Ashford saved me when eBags screwed me. I had ordered from eBags and they said shipping...shipping...shipping...OOPS we don't have your bloody item, it is backordered. Well I needed this item in THREE DAYS. So, I found a nice one (not as nice, but good enough) at Ashford. This is a hard-to-find item. I totally agree with the dissatisfied customers below. I placed an order in Nov. (@$99 with $5.95 shipping) and checked ship as complete. Four weeks went by and no order. I made contact with them and was told my order was being held up by one item. I said to release the other items so I would have by Christmas. When the order came it was less than half the items that should have been shipped and the order was split between two invoices ($23.86 and $16.04 with a shipping charge of $5.95 on each invoice = $29.81 and $21.99). I had a very pleasant experience when dealing with Arrowmax when I ordered a ‘unique’ large rack mountable server case from them for a workstation computer that I am building. The representative Angus, with whom I was in contact with, was very friendly and courteous to deal with and very accommodating to provide the best shipping available. SCAMMER WEBSITE!! We placed an order with Arite-International, wired payment 3 months ago and cannot get a response from them! We have emailed, telephoned, faxed and left messages and tried live chat with NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER. Arcadian Lighting has been very nice and their price was the best. Their follow-up has been excellent. Unfortunately, fixture shipped direct from manufacturer and that's another story. Globes came broken due to improper packing and then instead of shipping 6 they shipped 1. I believe Arcadian has done a great job of following up and their customer service has been great. This company is an absolute disgrace. I ordered two batteries from it Sept. 26, didn't hear anything for a while, so I e-mailed inquiring about my order's status. I got a resounding nothing in response. Received two, one terabyte DVR expanders without a hitch. Seems like a quality product and is working fine, so far. They are attractive; mostly plastic but looks like textured aluminum and they are silver colored, NOT the pinkish hue that they appear to be on the internet. What a "goof" on their advertising department's part to give the housing a reddish cast, when photographed! I really thought it would be "flesh cloor" when it arrived. I bought it anyway... I ordered a snap disc furnance switch on Oct. 16 (card was billed even though item didn't ship) with standard shipping (2-10 business days). On Oct. 30, I emailed as I still hadn't received the item (or any sort of communication of a delay in shipping.) Possibly the worst organization I have ever dealt with starting from the CEO Mario Bustamante down to the admin staff that I was forced to deal exclusively with at my residence for cable tv, internet, telephone and alarm monitoring because of a confidential agreement signed by Michael F. I am of the opinion that Cabela's is using unauthorized means to collect personal, private identifying information. Their policy is disturbing, questionable, and suspicious. If you read the fine print of their return policy, the "100% gaurantee" is apparently a half-truth. In order to complete a return or exchange the buyer must "present a valid photo ID that will be recorded and retained in a database to be used only for authorizing returns." Pack and Ride, Inc. contracts for moving trailers to be dropped and left so customers can fill the trailers and schedule pick up and delivery to the move destination. On the day of my scheduled trailer drop I was notified by Pack and Ride that their contract trailer provider would not deliver to my origin for drop off. This was a disaster that required me to rent another truck and hire labor to move everything across town to the trailer dispatch yard. A few months ago, I started to put an ad on GoGinzo.com. It claims to be an advertising service much like Craigslist, and they do comb through Craigslist ads in order to find dupes for their scam. Lasershield has been raising money for 5 years for individual investors, claiming to have a product that will make millions for the investors. The founder, Anthony Dohrmann, has been living off the investors money. Everything he has told shareholders has been a lie. The company has yet to produce a product. Tried to order a projection lamp for my Mitsubishi TV. searched all over the web for the particular part number, provided by Mitsubishi. Came across Apex. Not THE cheapest, but cheaper than many. I read the previous review and was convinced it was written by their marketing department. However, I am very satisfied with my purchase. It was shipped promptly and received quickly. The instructions were clear and concise and appeared to have been written by someone who reads, writes and speaks english. After removing the PSU from my tower, I noticed that it was making a strange rattling sound like a piece had broken off inside.
