I checked in on Friday (late afternoon) with no time to truly scope out the room. To the eye, it looked okay. WORST POSSIBLE INTERNATIONAL AIRLINE! Flight from LAX via CAN to MNL was nothing but problems from the check in counter(LAX) to landing(MNL). In August, AAA recommended the Occidental Hotel in Cozumel Mexico. Upon arrival, the room had a broken air conditioner, ants in the entire room, bedcomforter, walls, headboard, etc. After complaining, finally got a new room, room smelled of mildrew from leak in bathroom. I have booked a room at the ibis hotel chambery, they have told me, that although there is room fora cot in the room I have booked, they do not have a travel cot/cot and will not supply one. He informed me I should bring my own or stay somewhere else!!! I think bringin my own from perth australia may be problematic. The resort posts very beautiful pictures about its location but in fact it does not have any beach since it is located on a swamp area while it takes about 30 swamp area while it takes about 30 minutes walk from where they drop you off until you get to the resort. Anyone with a luggage will suffer tremendously since no one will help him/her carry the luggage for the 30 minute walk to the resort.
