We were on a tour from Hawaii to the Northeast and Canada via land and cruise. The 16 day tour encompassed wonderful locations. However, to sum up the experience we had with YMT...when in Baltimore, our three tour buses pulled up after a long day on the road at our hotel and there were no reservations made for us. Mgmt had car curbs painting job begin before guests left motel in a.m. No notice was given and there were no signs posted, no orange cones, no yellow tape to indicate this was happening. Worker had put some kind of paint remover on curbs making them so slippery (like thick butter). I believe that Southwestvacations.com needs to be investigated. I used their website to click on "Disney Deals." I decided to "build my own vacation" so that I could reserve a "Good Neighbor" hotel. I used Agoda.com to book a hotel in France for an upcoming trip. One of my criteria when booking my hotel was 'breakfast included'. Using Agoda I found my hotel of choice the 'France Eiffel'. On the site it clearly states 'Inclusive Breakfast'. Inclusive meaning: to include or tend to include. When I received my confirmation it showed 'Not including Breakfast'. We stayed in one in Jacksonville, NC. Their hotel had a nasty odor to it. This hotel accepts pets, however, they never explained the pet policy to us. We came back one night, around 9 pm, and we were told to find other accommodations. Funny, that morning we called to extended reservations and they didn't say a thing. They claimed our dogs were barking all day and night. Their staff was very unprofessional and their manager hid behind her staff, leaving before we had a change to talk to her. We booked this hotel through Priceline. We checked in Feb.1. Our room was filthy, dirty sink, shower fixture and tub, floor, stingy on towels and pillows. There was a loud continuous banging noise behind the wall. Jessica at the front desk refused to move us to another room, or contact the manager. After triing to rescend on our Mayan Purchase, we were approached by another group saying they were not with the Mayan but had a deal for us with the renting of our old timeshares. (no problem) The Grand Paradise Club stepped in. We were deceived again. The deal with the Mayan said cancelled, but when we returned home we received a bill for Bank of America for the supposed deal we had recended. Hi, I accidentally booked I week ahead and when I arrived at check-in they charged me 75 GBP to change the date. Fair enough, it was my fault but I still think 75 is excessive. It's not like it costs them anything. On top of that, without any warning at check in when you arrive at boarding gate they start weighing your hand luggage and you have to pay 10GBP for every kg of over 7. I ended up paying another 70. Never before had I been this much let down and lied to by an airline. I will avoid Frontier Airlines/US Airways like a plague. Their flights are filty with crumbs left on seats and on carpet from previous flight. But that is a minor point. I lost $300 worth of luggage. After spending the best week of my life fishing in Alaska I flash froze king salmon and halibut and checked it in with my other luggage. They told me that there would be an additional charge of $25 per night and a 12% tax added to my bill. We planned a holiday to Korea which was derailed when my daughter contracted Chicken Pox. The communication from this company is horribly poor. They promise to call back and never do. They promise to e-mail and never do. And that is all before you actually have a problem. They booked several international tickets for me before I fell ill and collapsed. I did testing and was medically unfit to fly with the documentaiotn to prove it. On Friday 10/06/2011 we checked in in Damrak inn Hotel situated in Damrak 58‐59, 1012LL AMSTERDAM for 2 nights. We had 2 reservations, one through a web page agency and the second directly through the hotel. The accommodation conditions were unacceptable. I made a reservation and needed to cancel. I called for four days and e-mailed twice with no response from the company. I called the parent company, Expedia and they refused to cancel but gave me the phone number for Travelscape (702) 938-2100 which has limited business hours. After another several phone calls I got through and was able to cancel but got ripped off for part of the refund. ILX, Los Abrigados in Sedona, Arizona offered a Voucher(good for one year) for a train ride on the Verde Canyon Train for 3 Adults for a 90 minute tour of their resort. My wife and I completed the tour in Sept 2008 and recieved the voucher. Bought a 42" HP Plasma TV and had it worked on a couple of times. This was by far the worst TV I have ever owned. The weight and heat it generated was over the top. Once it started having problems the picture quility went down and the HP was burned into the screen. The unit finally went out again and we had enough and bought a new TV. Since then, the service has been getting poorer and poorer, the available hotels and affiliated hotels have been getting less by each year, and the surcharge has been getting higher each year. Our daughter and her family paid for a suite at Super 8 Motel in Florence, Ky. on 6/11/11. Upon arriving it appeared not to be quite as portrayed on the internet.
