TAM Brazilian Airways has a long way to go to pretend to be like the big boys. First, it has the Orwellian policy of not letting anyone, but Brazilians reserve flights on their online site - since they require a brazilian cpf number to book the flight. I have tried to receive a better rate at Doubletree Hotel by submitting a several claim forms. They have not responded to my last couple of claims even though the rate is lower. I have contacted the customer care dep't to be stalled once again. I agree with the other complaints on this board that the best rate guarantee at Hilton is a scam. I sustained bed bug bites while staying at the Sleep Inn Denver Tech Center. Even though Bill Toors, the manager, two of his staff members, my roommate, and I, upon inspection, saw excrement staining on the box springs and actual bed bugs, the manager now claims there were no bed bugs. The hotel needs to upgrade the tv's in the guest rooms. They still have 19 in (box) color tv's. I stayed one night on 1 July 11 in RM 1811. The drainage on in the sink was very slow. The carpet was not clean in the room and the iron in the room didn't work well. We were unable to change rooms so we were stuck in this room for the night. I purchased travel insurance through access america booking through Delta airlines. Our baggage was delayed for a day. The baggage had the materials needed to do an out of state job for our Company. Our trip was interrupted because we could not complete our work without our baggage. Access America agreed the claim is covered but they deny gettting the documentation I have sent 4 times. I booked through Hotels.com in advance. I asked for a room for five of us. One included my daughter in a wheelchair. I was told we would have a room with 2 double beds and a sofa. I took my car in for routine service on a Friday. They serviced the car, charge $200+. The next day it began making a horrible noise so we took it in on Tuesday. Now they claimed it needed a new fan belt. Charge $100+. They should have caught this problem on Friday. I believe that the mechanic did something (loosened the fan belt) and they are now charging me for bad work that they did. I won't use them again because I don't trust them.
